Señor Momento Raises Funds<br />
Ian Clews (aka Señor Momento) dropped in to the<br />
Dementia Cafe, <strong>Swaffham</strong> to hand over a cheque and<br />
games to the value of £752. This was gratefully accepted<br />
by Café Manager Russell Simpson and Sue Carter. The<br />
Dementia Café, which meets on the first Wednesday<br />
every month, is located in the Assembly Rooms,<br />
<strong>Swaffham</strong> and is funded by the Alzheimer Society. Ian<br />
previously gave £854 to the Merle Boddy Centre which<br />
is managed by the <strong>Swaffham</strong> and District Mental Health<br />
Association. For information about the provision of day<br />
care for people with mental health problems, including<br />
independent living, contact Georgina Bell at the Merle<br />
Boddy Centre on 01760 724527. The Alzheimer Society<br />
can be contacted on 01553 763556. Sue Carter’s Happy<br />
Memories group is a charity based in West Norfolk<br />
which raises money in order to provide social events<br />
for people with dementia and their carers. Sue can be<br />
