Mind, Body & Spirit This month we feature Aura Soma a wonderful world of colour using the Aura Soma Colour- Care-System. Aura Soma is one of the top Colour Therapies in the world. Why is colour so important in all our lives? The energies of colour surround us for all to see and feel. Look at the vibrant yellow of the sunflower, the soft blue of the sky and the energetic reds and oranges of a tropical sunset. Feel the life within a glowing green plant and the serenity emanating from a translucent pool of pure water. You will quickly become aware that colour is a key ingredient in how we form our feelings toward something, and that these colour energies represent more than we may realise. What is the Aura Soma? The Aura Soma Colour- Care-System has been developed to capture these colour energies at a profound level and to use them as a tool to discover more about the essence of who we are. In the past, people have relied on others to tell them what to do and what they need. The Aura Soma system could empower you to make these decisions yourself. How does it work? Through choosing 4 from the set of over 100 beautiful dual coloured bottles we can begin the journey of self-discovery through colour. Think about it - you may be drawn to the vibrant sunshine of yellows, yet your friend may prefer the refreshing shades of green. These choices that we make reflect how our gifts, challenges and character are all entirely unique. This is why we say ‘you are the colours you choose’. Our aura is structured with 7 major coloured spirals of energy, or ‘chakras’. These chakras receive, digest, transform and transmit energy. Our chakra colours are the key to working with the Aura Soma bottles. One of our aims is to bring these chakras into balance, and also to restore, revitalise and rebalance ourselves at all levels. With the 4 bottles arrayed in front of us, it becomes possible, through discussion, to choose which colour products will be most beneficial to work with. What can I do next? For most people the first step towards working with the Aura Soma Colour-Care- System is to have a consultation with a trained Practitioner. This is where we choose our 4 bottles, and spend time discussing the meaning of our colour selection.
