Can You Help?
Does anyone know a photographer who lived on Station
Street sometime probably in the early 20th century?
We have recently acquired a camera with lenses,
filters and a collection of glass plates and other
negatives of several churches; designs of furniture
and ceilings; a gentleman called Kenneth, a Mr
J.B. Finnie and Mr Keith E.Gibbs – joint directors of
Campbell Smith & Co.Ltd.
These were found in the house when the current
owner moved in.
Fascinating stuff – but can anyone give us any clues as to
who the photographer or his subjects might have been?
