KEYA SETH APPOINTED AS

SETH (in photo) is the newly appointed
Chairperson of Assocham’s Women
Council – Eastern India. Keya Seth has already chartered
the course of action in the coming months which will be
undertaken by the Women’s Council. They include the
launch of women driven autos on the roads of Kolkata;
opportunities in the jewellery industry, especially junk
jewellery, to be provided to potential women entrepreneurs;
and the introduction of professional courses for beauticians.
Most of the employees in beauty salons and parlours in
West Bengal have no proper knowledge of skin care or hair
treatment. The new chairperson also launched a portal,
Twaksati, created by entrepreneur Ranjeeta Ghosh, in the
presence of Co-Chairman of Assocham (Eastern Region
Council) S N Nundy. Twaksati brings forward the saga of
exquisite and amazing art and crafts of India.
