Beamish Hall is a delightful 12th
Century house set in rolling parkland
on the borders of County Durham
and Tyne and Wear. Bursting with
character and charm, it offers guests
a glimpse into the Edwardian,
Victorian, Georgian and Elizabethan
architecture of the building, with
ornate ceilings, stained glass windows,
chandeliers, open fire places and a
sweeping staircase.
The hotel has 42 individually designed
bedrooms which reflect the grandeur,
elegance and splendour of the
period property. The Classic and
Deluxe guest rooms are cosy and
comfortable while the Premier rooms
benefit from luxurious double Jacuzzi
baths and views of the landscaped
gardens. The Charron Apartment
sleeps up to eight guests and is
bright and contemporary with a
private lounge and kitchen.
With 24 acres of woodland and
landscaped gardens, there’s plenty
of leisurely walks to enjoy or the on-site
activity centre provides high wire and
