Surah 3. Al-'lmran Part4 93 I t .. ,;..,<br />

131. And fear <strong>the</strong> Fire, which is prepared<br />

for <strong>the</strong> disbelievers.<br />

132. And obey Allah and <strong>the</strong> Messenger<br />

(Muhammad (frJ 41,, ..:u, .r1--) that you may<br />

obtain mercy. 11<br />

133. And march forth in <strong>the</strong> way (which<br />

leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and<br />

for Paradise as wide as <strong>the</strong> heavens and <strong>the</strong><br />

earth, prepared for A/-Muttaqun (<strong>the</strong> pious<br />

- See V.2:2).<br />

134. Those who spend (in Allah's Cause)<br />

in prowerity and in adversity,121 who repress<br />

anger, 1 and who pardon men; verily, Allah<br />

loves Al-Muhsinui41 (<strong>the</strong> good-doers).<br />

135. And those who, when <strong>the</strong>y have<br />

committed Fiihishah (illegal sexual<br />

intercourse) or wronged <strong>the</strong>mselves <strong>with</strong><br />

evil, remember Allah and ask forgiveness<br />

for <strong>the</strong>ir sins; - and none can forgive sins<br />

but Allah - and do not persist in what<br />

(wrong) <strong>the</strong>y have done, while <strong>the</strong>y know.1 5 1<br />

136. For such, <strong>the</strong> reward is Forgiveness<br />

from <strong>the</strong>ir Lord, and Gardens <strong>with</strong> rivers<br />

flowing underneath (Paradise), wherein <strong>the</strong>y<br />

shall abide forever. How excellent is this<br />

reward for <strong>the</strong> doers ( who do righteous<br />

deeds according to Allah's Orders).<br />

this will be regarded as charity. A good word, and every step one takes to <strong>of</strong>fer <strong>the</strong><br />

compulsory congregational prayer is regarded as charity; and guiding somebody on <strong>the</strong><br />

road is regarded as charity." (Sahih AI-Bukh§ri, Vol.4, Hadith No.141 ).<br />

* To show gratitude to Allah for keeping your body safe and sound, you should give in<br />

charity or do charitable deeds.<br />

strong is not <strong>the</strong> one who overcomes <strong>the</strong> people by his strength, but <strong>the</strong> strong is <strong>the</strong> one<br />

who controls himself while in anger." (Sahih AI-Bukhllri, Vol.8, Hadith No.135).<br />

141 (V.3:134) AI-Muhsiniin: Doers <strong>of</strong> good, those who perform good deeds totally for Allah's<br />

sake only <strong>with</strong>out any show-<strong>of</strong>f or to gain praise or fame and <strong>the</strong>y do <strong>the</strong>m in accordance<br />

<strong>with</strong> <strong>the</strong> Sunnah (legal ways) <strong>of</strong> Allah's Messenger, Muhammad r1-J ~ ..:u 1 ..;- •<br />
