Sfirah 83. At-Mutaffifin Part 30 l 823 j 'I'"• ~ _}.-1 A,. ~1 oJ.r"<br />

22. Verily, Al-Abrdr (<strong>the</strong> pious and<br />

righteous) will be in Delight (Paradise).<br />

23. On thrones, looking (at all things).<br />

24. You will recognise in <strong>the</strong>ir faces <strong>the</strong><br />

brightness <strong>of</strong> delight.<br />

25. They will be given to drink <strong>of</strong> pure<br />

sealed wine.<br />

26. The last <strong>the</strong>re<strong>of</strong> ( that wine) will be <strong>the</strong><br />

smell <strong>of</strong> Musk, and for this let (all) those<br />

strive who want to strive (i.e. hasten earnestly<br />

to <strong>the</strong> obedience <strong>of</strong> Allfill).<br />

27. It (that wine) will be mixed <strong>with</strong><br />

Tasnim:<br />

28. A spring where<strong>of</strong> drink those nearest<br />

to Allfill.<br />

29. Verily, (during <strong>the</strong> worldly life) those<br />

who committed crimes used to laugh at those<br />

who believed.<br />

30. And, whenever <strong>the</strong>y passed by <strong>the</strong>m,<br />

used to wink one to ano<strong>the</strong>r (in mockery).<br />

31. And when <strong>the</strong>y returned to <strong>the</strong>ir own<br />

people, <strong>the</strong>y would return jesting;<br />

32. And when <strong>the</strong>y saw <strong>the</strong>m, <strong>the</strong>y said:<br />

"Verily <strong>the</strong>se have indeed gone astray!"<br />

33. But <strong>the</strong>y (disbelievers, sinners) had<br />

not been sent as watchers over <strong>the</strong>m (<strong>the</strong><br />

believers).<br />

34. But this Day (<strong>the</strong> Day <strong>of</strong> Resurrection)<br />

those who believe will laugh at <strong>the</strong><br />

disbelievers 111<br />

35. On (high) thrones, looking (at all<br />

things).<br />
