Fashion Fleur – A Lebaran Collection by Ardana Haran has arrived and be prepared to note this may not be your run-of-the-mill Raya collection. Founder, Hariharan Arasu said, "This spring/summer Lebaran collection was inspired by the 1960s Parisian era, very vintage chic and it incorporates soft pastel colours of spring onto designs with various silhouettes ranging from loose fitting to body hugging pieces, from conservative to modern which would cater to ladies of all ages and style preferences. Although it is a Lebaran collection, the Western-Malaysian-infused designs make it suitable to be worn by all women regardless of occasions." Ecstatic about his collection which released on April 22, Hariharan also said this collection would be his first ever solo fashion show. The Lebaran Collection features pieces in pastel colours which include purple, pink and blue as well as outfits in grey and golden brown. On turning 26 years old and if his age affects him in any way, the designer and entrepreneur said, "I feel wonderful, actually. I've been working really hard to achieve my dreams (especially in the past year) and I'm feeling good about where I am right now and where I'm headed in the near future. My family has always been and always will be the backbone that has supported me in my career so I can say I'm more than content with how things have been going along." 29
