on the Litz in support of Alex Litz, who
sustained a traumatic brain injury in
a life-altering automobile accident.
The event includes dancing and a

of Alex’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising
campaign in his honor has

June 22 — Walk A Mile In Her
Shoes
Harbor House of Central Florida’s fifth
annual Walk A Mile in Her Shoes,
including music, food trucks and vendors,
starts at the Orange County
Courthouse and ends at Dr. Phillips
Performing Arts Center. Participants
strap on stilettos, slip on slingbacks
or prance in pumps for the walk.
Sponsorships are available. Time: 5
p.m. for check-in and 6 p.m. for the

Amway Center hosts the 24th annual
Mascot Games, sponsored by New
Hope for Kids and presented by Wawa.
Twenty-four of the best and most popular
mascots from across North America
join Orlando Magic’s Stuff for the
annual competition. Time: Friday at
12:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.
Cost: Tickets start at $12, with proceeds
benefiting New Hope for Kids,
which provides support to children and
families grieving the death of a loved
one and grants wishes to local children

Independence Gala

Living’s annual Celebrating Independence
Gala, including an orange-carpet

this year’s Beverly Chapman Legacy
