KARAM:
Protecting People Is Priority
Implementing safety measures inside a hazardous
work environment has always been a necessity
for every company to avoid lost time accidents.
But for KARAM, safety is the company’s expertise
and its priority. What started out as a business
with humble beginnings over 20 years ago turned
into a company that has offices in different parts
of the globe and a manpower strength of more
than 2600 people. With a mission to save many
lives inside different industrial environments,
KARAM provides training on “work at height
and rescue procedures” to its customers and
manufacturing and providing them with supreme
quality of Personal Protective Equipment.
In this exclusive interview with Dr. Udaya
Bhanu T.K., the President of Marketing for the
company’s MENA and CIS region, he shares
more details about the company, what KARAM’s
future will be, and his opinions on the trends in
today’s industries and economy. He also shares a
great advice for every millennial engineer working
today.
THE PERSON
Growing up in a remote village in Kerala (India),
I did not have much view of what I could do and
be. I am from a village where everyone grew up
to settle down and follow in the same steps of
their fathers. I wanted to break away from that
routine because I knew that there was a world of
opportunities awaiting me.
