On Aug. 21, 2017, people across the United States will see the sun
disappear behind the moon, turning daylight into twilight, causing
the temperature drop rapidly and revealing massive streamers of light
streaking through the sky around the silhouette of the moon. On that
day, America will fall under the path of a total solar eclipse .
REMEMBER: Looking directly at the sun, even when it is partially
covered by the moon, can cause serious eye damage or blindness.
NEVER look at a partial solar eclipse without proper eye protection .
House-Training: What Works For Today's Pet Owners
(NAPSA)-Dog ownership is
on the rise in the U.S. Whether
you rescue or use a breeder,
one thing all new dog owners
have in common is needing to
start off on the right paw when
it comes to house-training
their new pet. House-training
isn't as daunting as it sounds
if you set some boundaries
and get on a schedule to start.
Here are a few pointers to help
get you started and get your
dog quickly house-trained:
• Timing is everything-Puppies
do best on a regular
schedule. Lead your puppies
to the pad frequently, as they
will need to relieve themselves
at least six times a day. Follow
the same path to the pad
every time. The process will
require your full attention for
a few weeks, but the effort
you put into it now will last
for the rest of your pet's life.
• Dine and dash-If you establish
set mealtimes, your pets
will need to relieve themselves
on schedule as well. Keep tabs
on when your dog relieves
himself during training. Use
that timing to get your dog
accustomed to going outside
or using the training pads.
• Relaxation room-Dogs like
their own den, and a propersized
crate for your dog is all
the space it needs for downtime.
Have your dog or puppy
sleep in the crate at night and
when you are not home during
training.
• Separate spaces-Set up the
training pad in a special area
away from the crate and food.
Consider using special trays
designed to hold training pads
to keep the pad in place and
deter dogs from playing with
the training pads.
• Treat time-Use the same
Today, more owners use potty
pad training when they have
limited outdoor areas.
treat every time your pet
does the right thing during
house-training for positive
reinforcement. Rubbing its
nose in its feces may make
matters worse and could
cause your dog to hide when
it's time to go.
Ephesians 4:28 THE SIN OF STEALING (Part 2)
**************************************************************
See II Corinthians 8:12: For if there be first a willing mind. it is
accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he
hath not. # 13.· For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye
burdened: # 14: But by an equality, that now at this time your
abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also
may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:
C. The Curse of God; Malachi 3.·9.· Ye are cursed with a curse: for
ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
1. In Haggai 1:6-11 they had sown much and gathered little, they had earned wages to put into bags with
holes. Haggai 1.·7: Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
III. ROB OURSELVES; Malachi 3:10-b
A. The Commitment of God to His people; “I will pour you out a blessing” Proverbs 3:9 # 10: So shall thy
barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
1. The blessings of giving are far greater than the bruises we will get when we do not. Luke 6:38.· Give,
and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over,
shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to
you again.
II Corinthians 9:6; But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which
soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully # 7: Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let
him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Reasons I believe every Christian should tithe;
1. The tithe belongs to God; Leviticus 27.·30; And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land,
or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD.
2. Tithing increases our blessings; Malachi 3:9. 10
3. Tithing reveals our obedience to God; Luke 6.·46.· And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the
things which I say?
4. Tithing teaches us to depend on God; Psalms 37.·3.· Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou
dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
5. Tithing says we love God; John 14:15·. If ye love me, keep my commandments. I John 5:3; For this is
the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. “grievous”
means not burdensome!
Dear Precious Friends and Collaborators,
In Phil 1-3 I THANK MY GOD UPON EVER REMEMBRANCE OF YOU... I can say that from the depths of my being. We have been busy
preaching and trying to keep up all the corners with my wife being sick, but SHE IS BETTER TO SOME DEGREE. She just can’t get her
strength back. We will walk short distances, and then extend our walk twice a day. Keep PRAYING for her. We are THANKFUL for ALL
the phone calls and the cards that ENCOURAGE us.
We have been constantly preaching. We are thankful and honored to fill the pulpits of these men of God. A lot of churches do not have pastors
- it is at an epidemic level. You should always be THANKFUL and APPRECIATIVE of a good church and a GODLY Pastor (ACTS 20-28).
The CHURCH is the only thing Jesus ever PURCHASED with His OWN BLOOD. Every thing else HE borrowed. What a SAVIOUR!!
We drive to our meetings within two hours to be back home with MARY. I don’t leave her for very long. We are taking one day at a time.
The LORD has brought us through this CANCER, and has promised us HE would NEVER leave us nor FORSAKE us. My heart breaks for
folks who have these diseases. One day all DISEASES will be gone (REV 21-4).
We will keep you informed as to MARY’S health. God is able! Keep looking up and listening for the SHOUT come up HITHER.
P.S. Pray for our military. Pray for a young man who is being deployed for a year. Because of HIM, Brother Melvin Sisson

The rules are simple. A quick look reveals that the
puzzle is a 9-by-9 grid of squares divided into
nine 3-by-3 square blocks, with some of the
squares filled in for you. The object is to fill in
the blank squares in such a way that each
of the numbers1 to 9 appears exactly
once in each row, column, and block.
If the puzzle has been constructed properly,
there should be only one way to complete the
diagram within the rules of the game.
Despite this apparent simplicity,
solving some sudoku puzzles
can be complicated indeed.
"The First Fifty Baptist Churches in Kentucky"
provides a chronological history of the early
Baptist churches located within the boundaries
of the Bluegrass State. Regular Baptists and
Separate Baptists were represented among
the first churches, and the names of Kentucky
Baptist pioneers such as John Garrard, William
Hickman, John Taylor, Andrew Tribble, Squire
Boone, John Gano, the Craig brothers could be
included among a Who's Who of Baptist leaders
in America. Their stories are told on the pages
of this volume.
The word grace in Scripture
is used in many different ways.
In the Old Testament it is often
included with “grace-words”
when the writer is speaking of
God‘s loyalty or forgiveness,
His steadfast love or lovingkindness.
It is also used in
association with relationships,
such as the relationship of a
superior to an inferior. And this
is noteworthy: An inferior
cannot show a superior grace.
In other words, we cannot
show God grace. Everything
flows from His grace and there
is nothing we have that did not
come from Him.
In the New Testament the word
for grace is charis - a word used
when speaking of forgiveness.
From it comes our word
“charity” - giving something to
someone when they do not
deserve “it” or cannot get “it”
themselves. It also implies being
“gracious” -that is, grace in
action.
Showing God ‘s grace is
what Christians are to do after
they accept God’s grace. And
unless we show it we might
question whether or not we
really have it!
For example, when we are
saved by grace we are to
become gracious and act
differently. Cruelty is to be
replaced with kindness, anger
with acceptance, rejection
with reconciliation and giving
instead of always getting.
Grace is certainly a
comprehensive word. It is as
wide as the world. Remember
what Jesus said: “God loved
the world so much that He
gave His only begotten Son
that whosoever believes on
Him shall be saved.”
Our indebtedness to God for
His grace is beyond us.
Our indebtedness to show His
grace to others is not optional.
Lincoln County, as of the
2010 census, had a population
of 24,742. Its county seat is
Stanford. Lincoln is a prohibition
County was not named for the
later president, but for the
American Revolutionary War
general Benjamin Lincoln.
Lincoln was one of the original
three counties formed out
of Virginia’s Kentucky
County. (The other two were
Fayette and Jefferson counties.)
These three were separated
from Virginia to create
the Commonwealth of Kentucky
in 1792.
The county’s original seat was
at Harrodsburg, but that part
of Lincoln County became
Mercer County in 1785.
which is located in Crab
