THE DRINKS<br />
The carefully curated menu begins its<br />
journey from the Garden of England, Kent.<br />
The South East highlands covered in lush<br />
greenery offers Kentish ingredients such as<br />
cobnuts, hops and apples, inspiring long drinks<br />
served in beautiful bespoke glass terrariums.<br />
The drink, light and fresh, pays homage to the<br />
flourishing and copious growth of this plush<br />
green pocket.<br />
The journey continues through swanky<br />
and elegant London with the opulent Art Deco<br />
era and decadent sophistication serving as<br />
inspiration. Classic and heady, each cocktail<br />
will be served in an elongated coupe on a silver<br />
Art Deco tray. The allure of the Sherwood<br />
Forest is next as the woodland ingredients and<br />
ancient myth result in drinks served in a silver<br />
goblet with a wooden base.<br />
The boom of the industrial revolution is<br />
attributed to the population of Yorkshire and<br />
Lancashire (the Pennines). The mushrooming<br />
of the era brought forward numerous changes<br />
as trade opened up borders around the world.<br />
Representing the new exploration, this section<br />
features teas and exotic ingredients, and drinks<br />
served in an intricately cut glass in a cog design<br />
holding garnishes.<br />
The journey ends up north at Castle Rock,<br />
on the peak of Scotland’s Fortress, Edinburgh<br />
Castle. The focus is on whiskies, Scottish<br />
legends and wild flavours. This rock glass is<br />
served perched high on shards of slate. The<br />
‘Coast to Coast’ journey is acknowledging and<br />
affirming the beautiful history of the island<br />
and its people through a sensory experience<br />
based on native ingredients<br />
Each cocktail has a story to tell from its<br />
unique mix of ingredients to the heart and<br />
passion put in by the bartenders. Perhaps it’s<br />
the old school charm coupled with the creative<br />
menu that leaves you intrigued at American<br />
Bar but one thing is certain that cocktail<br />
culture is well on it way to its heyday.<br />
