and off the screen. Will Smith provides insight into his new Netflix movie
“Bright” as well as how he handles fame.

Mr. Smith, you have saved the
world several times already
throughout your career. Now
you are doing it again in your new
movie “Bright”. Are some people
born to be heroes?
A good question, but I don’t really have a
good answer. Normally I don’t walk around
protecting elfs, as I do in this movie. But I
do like the idea that some people are born
to be heroes. We sure need them!
Does our world need new
superheroes?
I think so. It’s such a saturated superhero
world out there, it’s nice to throw in some
guys that think a little differently. I think
a new “twist” always makes it fun.
Is that what you need to stay
interested, to want more
movie roles and to stay in this
business?
Absolutely. Without any doubt. I don’t
want to get bored, I want to face new
challenges. That’s important for me. It
keeps my engine running.
You are known to be Mr.
Charming all the time. Never a
mean word, never a cuss word
even. Is that fake or is that the
real Will Smith?
No, that’s real. Every person has a choice
