The Mercer County Agricultural Society, Ohio State University Extension,
FFA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and all involved in the Mercer County Fair
support a code of good sportsmanship in all events and promote learning and
responsibility through its activities.
Verbal abuse, physical abuse or harassment toward directors, judges, ring
stewards, superintendents, employees, OSU extension staff, junior fair
members, club advisors or volunteers of the Mercer County Fair will not be
tolerated. You may be escorted from the fairgrounds; premiums forfeited, and
upon Mercer County Agricultural Society Rule Committee’s decision, the family
members may not be able to exhibit at the Mercer County Fair for period of
time indicated by the committee based on the severity of the situation.

The officers and directors of the Mercer County Agricultural Society cordially
welcome you to the Mercer County Fair. It is through the continued effort
and support of all segments of our community, public, exhibitors, media,
retail merchants, concessionaires, County Commissioners, State and Local
Officials, farm groups, 4-H, FFA, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts that help make
the fair what it is.
The youth of the Mercer County area, 4-H, FFA, Boy Scouts,
and Girl Scouts and their leaders will again contribute their talents
and enthusiasm to make a great Junior Fair.
A special thank you to our Corporate, Associate and General
Sponsors, retail merchants, trophy donors and advertisers for their
continued support and cooperation. A varied program has been planned
for your enjoyment, from the midway and special entertainment,
to the agricultural exhibits. Mercer County’s Agricultural excellence is
displayed at its best through the exhibitions at the fair.
The Secretary ’s Office will be open for your entries and information
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.;
Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to noon; and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
SPECIAL TIME - Friday, August 5th 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
