industry. You could train as an actor, a dancer, or learn the skills needed for musical theatre.<br />

You may prefer to work backstage <strong>and</strong> train for a career in technical theatre, or stage<br />

Entry requirements<br />

A minimum of 4 GCSEs with the following<br />

grades: English 2 <strong>and</strong> maths at 1 or above, <strong>and</strong><br />

2 other GCSEs grade 2 or above.<br />

Overview<br />

All great performers take a first step towards<br />

greatness <strong>and</strong> this is yours.<br />

This course will give you the chance to rehearse<br />

<strong>and</strong> perform as an actor, singer or dancer.<br />

You can also explore the technical side of theatre<br />

<strong>and</strong> performance, improve your digital skills<br />

<strong>and</strong> learn how to perform for a range of modern<br />

mediums.<br />

Whatever your plans, it will help you progress to<br />

the next stage of your learning.<br />

starting to develop performance skills, preparing<br />

Get a secure foundation in acting <strong>and</strong> dance,<br />

develop your portfolio of work <strong>and</strong> progress to a<br />

higher-level qualification in performing arts.<br />

Our multi-skilled tutors have many years of<br />

experience in both the acting <strong>and</strong> dance<br />

industries <strong>and</strong> can support/guide you to progress<br />

on your creative journey.<br />

We work closely with you to develop your<br />

specialist skills. So expect lots of h<strong>and</strong>s-on<br />

involvement, workshops <strong>and</strong> real-world/live work<br />

enrichment activities with local/regional theatres<br />

<strong>and</strong> professionals.<br />
