There is one beaching area south of the point by the creek. 8. Water is shallow close to shore and at the north end of Anstey Arm. Watch for deadheads and driftwood that float in from Anstey River. Beautiful beaches. 9. Anstey Beach Marine Park - Many beautiful beaching areas with a view of Anstey Arm to the south. Boat access only to five campsites with picnic tables and pit toilets. Compensate for dropping water levels during the course of the day. A small marker sign is situated at the trail head on the west corner of the bay outside of the park. The trail meanders through some interesting old growth dominated by large cedars and cottonwood up to Hunakwa Lake. Anstey River flows into the lake at the right corner of the bay. 10. Hunakwa Creek - Do not enter this area. Beach in the bay to the east at Anstey Beach Marine Park and in the left corner of the park but watch for deadheads. There is a rock reef that comes out 30 m (100 feet) in the left corner of the bay by the sign. This indicates the start of Anstey Arm West Marine Park. 11. Anstey Arm West Marine Park - Boat access only but rocky shores - no beaching. The park travels north to the end of Anstey Arm and south to Rendezvous Park. 12. Rendezvous Picnic Site Marine Park - Boat access only. Two signs on shore (to the north) indicate the start of Anstey Arm West Marine Park and the start of Rendezvous Picnic Site Marine Park (continuing south). There is a pit toilet up a small trail at the point. 13. Broken Point – Rocky shores - no beaching for 1.6 km south and 800 m north. 14. Twin Bays Marine Park - Nice rock formation to the north and nice beaching areas in the north and south bays. 15. Log Boom – Watch for stray logs. There are private beaches to the south. 16. Private beaches and docks - no beaching. Rocky shores south to Anstey View Marine Park. 17. Anstey View Marine Park - Boat access only to five campsites with picnic tables and pit toilets. There is an excellent view of Anstey Arm from this pleasant site consisting mostly of Douglas-fir, Western White Pine and Birch trees. Some beaching areas. 30 SHUSWAP SUNCRUISER
