A. Anglemont Marina - Houseboats welcome! They are your
one stop shop on the Shuswap. Cold beer and Liquor Agency.
Groceries and Beachwear. Premium Fuel, Propane and Waste
pumpout services available. Located 10 minutes from the
narrows with houseboat parking on shore.
1. St. Ives Marine Park - Vehicle and boat access to a nice
beach east of the point - private beaches & docks west.
2. Horseshoe Bay Marine Park - Nice overnight beaching in
the centre of the bay. There are private beaches and docks to
the west of the bay. Caution - rocks are close to the surface
at the point.
3. Fransen Creek – Private beaches and docks east and west
of the creek - no beaching.
4. Road runs along the shoreline in this area. Private beaches
and docks to the east and west - no beaching.
5. Hudson Creek – Beautiful place to wake up with the morning
sun. Private beaches and docks.
6. A small park with picnic tables and beaching areas 800 m
west of the marina.
7. Fraser Bay – Nice quiet bay. Private beaches and docks - no
beaching.
8. Private beaches east and west for 800 m. There is no
beaching west up to the cement, public boat launch with four
white, 1.5 metre pilings on shore.
9. Some nice beaching areas. Beach with care in the cleared
areas and respect private beaches east and west from here.
10. Eagle Bay – Beautiful bay with private beaches and docks
- no beaching for 800 m west or east.
11. Beautiful home at the point on the rocks with a small patio.
Two tall white pilings with a light on one and a Canadian flag
on the other. Private beaches and docks - no beaching west
or east.
12. Shannon Beach – No motorized vehicles on the beach. The
sign with the red and white cross indicates that you should
stay out of this swimming area. There is a beaching area east.
Dive Site – Shannon Beach. Interesting limestone formation to
15 m (50 feet).
13. Small public boat launch left of the creek with some
beaching left of the boat launch.
14. Beautiful bay with a private boat launch, beaches and
docks. At the east point and on the rocks, there is a flag pole
with two flags.
15. Private beaches - no beaching for 1.6 km east and west.
16. A small public boat launch with two matching houses to
the east.
17. Private beaches and docks - no beaching east to the Armstrong Point Light and
west to the boat launch.
18. Armstrong Point (flashing red light) – Private beaches and docks east and west
and a public boat launch to the east.
19. Public boat launch – dock with large pilings is private. Private beaches and
docks to the west and east.
20. Wild Rose Bay – Beautiful bay with private beaches and docks.
21. Attention – Rocks come past the surface of the water 21 m (70 feet) from shore
- dangerous for surface navigation. Do not travel close to shore when going
around the point. There is beaching to the west of the point - private beaches
and docks to the east.
22. Nice bay with private beaches and docks - no beaching.
