Jordane Allison: “I’ve been made to feel very welcome“
Summer signing Jordane “JJ” Allison
believes the team’s confidence will
soar once that first goal goes in, with
Bradford City still awaiting their first
win of the season.
After losing 2-0 at Leicester on the
opening weekend, City were held to a
goalless draw by Nottingham Forest
last Sunday.
While the team were more creative
than in their previous outing, they still
failed to find the back of the net and
that first win of the season.
But Allison has seen plenty of positives
in her first two competitive outings for
the club.
“Last week we created more chances
than in the Leicester defeat and I
thought we were unlucky not score,”
she said.
“The defence were solid as well
despite two major injuries – hopefully
Paige [Crosby] and Charlotte [Stuart]
will be okay and return as soon as
possible.
“I think we just need to keep
experimenting in the final third and
also keep our composure,” Allison
added.
