TOURISM UPDATE submitted by Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association www.SouthwestOrlandoBulletin.com x November 16 — December 6, 2017 x 9 During Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association’s membership luncheon on Oct. 18, CFHLA conducted its second CFHLA Cares Drive of 2017. The donated items, collected from dozens of Central Florida lodging establishments and hospitality-related businesses, primarily included nonperishable foods, toiletry items and new clothes. More than 115,000 items have been contributed by CFHLA members this year, all of which were directly donated to the 10,000-plus homeless students attending Orange and Osceola counties public schools. Volunteers from Orange County Public Schools sort thousands of donated items at the Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association Cares Drive.
