2.12 osCAS - open system Computer Aided Selling Projecting simultaneously when Selling - with osCAS Constructing a machine and selling one are two different things – at least up to now. Engineers and salespeople need a lot of time for briefing each other when it comes to matching one's own product range with customer requirements. To reduce this effort to a minimum and at the same time to optimally automate standardized construction work, AUCOTEC has developed a unique product: osCAS is the first tool for sales support that is directly integrated into the construction process. It is moreover one of the first products to be certified for Windows Vista. With osCAS it is possible to configure the machine desired by the customer during the initial sales discussion.
