2.1 Database Explorer<br />
The Database Explorer is the main window of the <strong>Engineering</strong> Base application and<br />
gives the user easy access to all data stored in the database. From the Database Explorer,<br />
the user can easily navigate between projects and create or modify data.<br />
The Database Explorer has the familiar look and feel of the well known Microsoft<br />
Windows Explorer. Thus cutting down the time required to become familiar with<br />
<strong>Engineering</strong> Base.<br />
2.2 Multi-Project Access<br />
Within <strong>Engineering</strong> Base, all design work is organized into projects. All diagrams<br />
and component data is stored in those projects. Because the user has simultaneous<br />
access to all projects within the database, diagrams and components can easily be<br />
copied between projects.<br />
