2.14.4 Master-Shapes<br />
<strong>Engineering</strong> Base comes with a comprehensive library of more than two thousand<br />
master-shapes that comply with BS/EN 60617 and other national and international<br />
standards. All master-shapes are organized in a clear structure. New master-shapes<br />
can be created and all existing master-shapes can be modified with the Shape Editor<br />
to suit individual needs.<br />
Master-shapes are placed on diagrams using drag-and-drop.<br />
Preferred master-shapes can be selected for each component to reduce the selection<br />
of master-shapes. Those master-shapes are combined on one single stencil.<br />
For each sheet, a Preferred Shape Type can be selected. Shapes with the matching<br />
type can be placed directly from the component in the navigation pane on the sheet<br />
using drag-and-drop with the right mouse button.<br />
