GLENCOURT ADD TO
UK RECRUITING TEAM
Glencourt Associates, the specialist Retail Environment recruiters have
added two further experienced consultants to their UK team.
Lucie McGuire now focuses on sourcing designers of all disciplines for retail
agencies and in-house design teams. Before joining Glencourt, Lucie
worked in central London but became tired of the extended daily commute
resulting from industrial unrest on the Southern Rail network, and so
decided to work locally.
James Ritchie is the most recent addition to the Sussex based team and
with four years recruitment experience ‘under his belt’, realised it was time
to work on more senior level appointments. James now specialises in
sourcing quality personnel for both retail and commercial interior fit-out
companies.
Glencourt Associates source both permanent and interim personnel for all
management disciplines within the retail interiors market from offices in the
UK and mainland Europe.

Movement solution specialists Movetech UK has highlighted its
commitment to advancing skilled engineers by recruiting another new
apprentice, increasing the total number of apprenticeships recruited to
four, in as many years.
NEW APPRENTICE BOOSTS
PRODUCTIVITY FOR MOVETECH
New apprentice Able Gadimoh, 19, had very little practical engineering
experience before joining Movetech UK, however his positive approach
and dedication to succeed is evident he is an extremely worthy candidate
to take on the role.
Able has enrolled with the Bolton based company on a formal engineering
apprenticeship scheme through Alliance Learning, Horwich. As part of his
hands-on apprenticeship, Able will attend Alliance Learning once a week to
further his knowledge and facilitate his awareness within the engineering
industry.
"We have a great relationship with Alliance Learning and we’re always very
impressed with the service they provide for both us as a company and our
new apprentices" says Movetech UK's Operations Director, Russell
Entwistle. "They have helped us hugely in formalising Able’s apprenticeship
scheme in advanced mechanical engineering, offering Able a structured
path that will lead to formal, universally recognised qualifications, serving
him, and us, better in the future."
Able was delighted when he was selected for the apprentice role at
Movetech UK. "I jumped at the chance to apply for the position because I
was keen to be part of a successful local company that knows all the ins
and outs when it comes to engineering and manufacturing” said Able.
He then went on to say: “Since starting a couple of weeks ago, everyone
has made me feel really welcome and I am looking forward to getting
hands on and achieving my goals, as well as helping the company to
continue to thrive along the way."
Managing Director; Tim Entwistle, is enthusiastic about the added value
the new recruit will bring to the company. "We did have an immediate need
for more skilled hands to fulfil our existing order book and to boost
production," he says. "However just as important was the need to invest in
the future or our planned growth could not occur. There is a strong desire
by the company's management team and employees to grow the business,
and to do this we must build on existing strengths and expand our
capabilities."

SUPERDRY LAUNCH NEW SPORTS

to create their September windows. Consisting of green vinyl battens
interspersed with LED lights the scheme also features the brands new
‘Superdry Sport’ logo. Produced by Stylo, the scheme can be found at
Superdry’s UK store on Regents Street as well as in stores across Europe
and in New York’s Times Square.
