CHAPTER L
WHO HENBT WAS.
Henry Williams was an active, intelligent, and
well-behaved boy, and, though only fourteen years
of age, nearly as tall as his father : still, though
tall, he was rather slender and delicate.
He had been to school a part of the time,—
perhaps I should say a large part of — from
it,
six years of age to the present, and his progress
had been excellent. It was vacation now; but
a
new term was just at hand.
One morning, after they were seated at break
