The members present at this meeting voted on two charities for FRC to donate
$500 each to:
The “animal” charity that will receive $500 from FRC is FOOTHILLS
HUMANE SOCIETY.
The “human” charity that will receive $500 from FRC is TROT.
Other donations and benefits that FRC contributed to this year were:
Erik Dierks Fundraiser - $500
ELCR _ Equine Land Conservation Resource - $100
FERA - Foothills Equine Rescue Association - we had three speakers who
declined the honorarium and so FRC donated those funds to FERA - $300
July FENCE Benefit Show- $1500
We also approved two scholarships of $250 each to FRC Members Hannah
Nagle and Rebecca Drumgool.
Our Membership in 2017 was a record 331 members - a 13% increase over last
year.
This broke down to –
220 Individual memberships
62 Family memberships - 41% increase (meaning we really have more than
331 actual members)
49 Business memberships - 17% increase
FRC held 6 shows this year - all managed beautifully by Cathy Schwartz. Besides
the fact that the shows were well attended and very popular, we did have a few
firsts:
- All of the Dressage and CT shows at FENCE were full with a waiting list.
- We started offering a Training Level Combined Test this year.
- We are now offering Year End Awards for Western Dressage.
- We offered a Lead Line Class at our last show which we plan on offering in the future.
FRC has the MOST AMAZING Volunteer base!

of our Volunteer Program!
