Also coming in early 2018 will is
a program about Hand in Hand. This
unique educational experience allows
Jewish and Arab high school students
Naples Klezmer
Revival Band
wants you!
At present, the band is looking for a
keyboard player to replace recentlyretired
Art Isenberg, and a vocalist to
share duties with the incredibly busy
Jane Galler. Interested persons should
call Stu Warshauer at 239.273.8059.
to attend classes together. Two members
of the Hand in Hand program,
Rebecca Bardach and Mohamad Marzouk,
will share their experiences with
the program. Hand in Hand Center for
Jewish-Arab Education seeks to lay the
foundation for Israelis and Palestinians
for a shared future. Most of the schools
in Israel are segregated, which makes
this program more unique. The hope is
that as these students grow up they will
be more understanding and accepting of
each other’s culture. The community is
invited to attend this program on Tuesday,
February 20, at 7:00 p.m. at Beth
Tikvah, 1459 Pine Ridge Road. The cost
for this event is $10 in advance and $15
at the door. For more information, please
see the ad on page 6A.
The Israel Advocacy Committee of
Collier County invites the community
to come together to celebrate Israel’s
70 th anniversary on Sunday, March 25
at Chabad of Naples, 1789 Mandarin
Road. The renowned duo, Kol B’Seder,
their unique brand of contemporary
Jewish music. Bring the family and
help give a hearty “Mazel Tov” to the
State of Israel. For more information,
