Countdown Kids Hospital Appeal
chairwoman Ruth Krippner
says most kiwi kids will visit
hospital at some stage in their
childhood. She said Countdown
is proud to play a part in helping
provide these hospitals with the
equipment needed to treat illness
and injury.
“Whether it’s a one off visit for
a minor injury or a lengthy stay
for a serious illness, most New
Zealand children will have a
brush with a children’s hospital
ward at some point– just like
this family,” Ms Krippner said.
“Thanks to the generosity of
our customers and the fundraising
efforts of the Countdown
PRESENTED BY:
To the hypnotic beat of djembe
drums and breath-taking lighting
effects, Riccarton High School’s
Disney’s The Lion King Junior
created joy and magic. Six capacity
audiences gasped, cheered, wept,
laughed and were enchanted
by the school’s latest musical
production. Principal’s assistant
Karen Churchward said the singing,
acting and dancing was of a
professional quality.
“The brilliant set, stunning
costumes, masks and make-up
that morphed students into vibrant
African birds and amazing animals
delivered creative magic and
delight,” she said.
Build your next home
with Artisan Homes
Your local registered Master Builder
Home building is as much about understanding the
landscape and the client as it is the plan and the
materials. From our office in Rolleston, Canterbury our
small company has built a huge range of homes that are
distinctive, stylish, durable and cost-effective.
From clever, compact homes to three bedroom townhouses
to large scale, expansive country style homes, our work
spans all types of house building.
Since 2004 we have carefully built, among other things, a
reputation for constructing high quality houses.
An artisan is someone who is highly skilled in a particular
expertise, a hands-on craftsman – someone who is
passionate about the quality results they produce.
With decades in the business the team at Artisian Homes
have worked in all areas of residential construction. There
are obvious differences between building a two-bedroom
home compared to a six bedroom one. Irrespective, our
overall approach remains the same.
While we have a sound reputation for carefully crafted
home building we also are renowned for getting the right
result no matter what the challenge. Building with difficult
access, looming timelines or tight budgets is just a fact of
life for us. All our tradespeople are qualified and registered
or licensed. Our abilities to design and build a range of
houses have increased over the years, as has our skill and
overall capacity. While we don’t have the franchises of our
larger competitors we do have their networks and buying
power. Which means our clients receive the most costeffective
results possible.
At Artisan Homes, our passion is building homes for
people who appreciate the work that goes into what will,
ultimately, be a home they love to live in.
