<strong>The</strong> latest collection of works<br />
from the Eastside Gallery<br />
showcases art from Keith Morant,<br />
Henry Sutherland, Ross Gillies<br />
and Damian Holt. <strong>The</strong> pieces<br />
have been created by drug<br />
users, those in recovery and<br />
workers in the addiction sector.<br />
It is presented by Christchurch<br />
Community Arts Council, on<br />
behalf of Christchurch Drug<br />
and Alcohol Service and the<br />
Christchurch Opioid Recovery<br />
Service. It runs Monday to Friday,<br />
11am to 4pm and Saturday, noon<br />
until 3pm.<br />

this year where you can pick<br />
up bargains galore and unique<br />
gifts including crafts, cakes and<br />

the judging the table and you<br />
could win. <strong>The</strong>re will be games<br />
like faerie, faerie, where’s your<br />
door, sneaking up on the wizard,<br />
and duck, duck, goose. Also,<br />
there will be a garden tour, free<br />
face-painting, giant bubbles and<br />
hula hoops. Bring a picnic blanket<br />
and something to eat and drink.<br />

MUSIC BY KOYU-KAI<br />
Koyu-kai is a group of local<br />
musicians who play Japanese<br />

country. <strong>The</strong> group is celebrating<br />
20 years with a programme of<br />
three traditional pieces, two<br />
contemporary pieces and a slide<br />
show of a traditional Japanese<br />
folktale. <strong>The</strong> musicians will<br />
also wear traditional Japanese<br />
