22 runs in their semi-final at<br />
Leeston Park.<br />
Leeston-Southbridge will meet<br />
Sefton in the final at Rangiora’s<br />
Mainpower Oval on December<br />
18. Sefton booked their spot after<br />
defeating Southbrook by 78<br />
runs.<br />
Batting first Leeston-Southbridge<br />
were struck an early blow<br />
with the loss of opener Josh<br />
Lensen in the first over.<br />
However, it was the batting<br />
side that took control from then<br />
on with Toby Doyle and Harry<br />
Chamberlain combining for a<br />
199-run second wicket partnership.<br />
Doyle stayed unbeaten<br />
throughout the whole innings,<br />
finishing on 102 not out as<br />
Leeston-Southbridge finished on<br />
241/3 from their 45 overs.<br />
Lincoln’s reply got off to a<br />
steady start through openers<br />
Richard Clark and Jake Schwass<br />
who got the score through to 22<br />
after five overs. Lincoln then lost<br />
three wickets for just seven runs<br />
