beauty competition taking place early<br />
Saturday afternoon.<br />
<strong>The</strong> burnout pad will start earlier on the<br />
Saturday this year at around 12 noon, with<br />
the finals being held on Sunday.<br />
So if you like perfect paintwork,<br />
gleaming chrome and the noise of highperformance,<br />
crisp-sounding V8 engines,<br />
this is the place to be. But don’t leave it till<br />
3pm Sunday to come to the show, or you<br />
will be disappointed. A lot of cars will have<br />
driven huge distances to get here and a few<br />
will start leaving early for the drive home.<br />

‘bubbletop’ Impala.<br />
This family-friendly show – don’t<br />
forget the children’s rides – is priced<br />
slightly differently this year, to hopefully<br />
speed up proceedings. Adults are $<strong>18</strong>,<br />
all kids under 15 are free, and a two-day<br />
pass for display hours only is just $30<br />
and available on Saturday at the gate.<br />
