Alexandra District Club Inc is a wellsupported
club right in the heart of the
Central Otago town. Members can enjoy
various sports sections including golf,
pool, fishing, table tennis, darts, indoor
bowls, lawn bowls, croquet, petanque and
a newly formed ukulele section. The club
offers extensive bar and bistro facilities
catering to members, their guests and
associated club members throughout NZ.
The bistro provides a good value
selection of steak, fish, chicken, etc as well
as an affordable children’s menu. At the
bar, there is a good range of NZ and local
wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and Robert
Harris espresso coffee.
The Stadium Tavern in Alexandra is a familyfriendly
establishment with a warm, relaxed
atmosphere to gather with friends, family or
colleagues. Located beside Molyneux Park
sports grounds, the outdoor skating rink and
Alexandra’s Aquatic Centre, the tavern offers
an extensive bistro and beverage menu to
suit all tastes and budgets.
As well as a blackboard selection that
changes daily, the menu incorporates a
variety of starters and a popular “chatter
platter” to share; light meals; main course
choices of steak, ribs, shanks, chicken, fish
and pasta dishes; delectable desserts and
children’s meals that include a free drink and
ice cream sundae.
Alexandra District Club is available
to cater for private functions, including
weddings, 21sts, anniversaries, birthday
parties and any special occasions you may
have, with our experienced function coordinator

The bistro is open Thursdays to Sundays

There’s a great play area for the kids to
hang. The adults can enjoy a leisurely meal
or take advantage of TAB facilities, gaming
machines and lounge, a game of pool or Big
Screen sports action. Recently renovated
and refurbished, three separate bar areas are
also available for private function hire and
a courtesy coach is available to the Stadium
Tavern’s patrons.
