February Maximus Clinic
After a successful August Clinic we will be offering another opportunity to work with Maximus and trainer
Barbro again this month! There is no better time to get yourself prepared for the upcoming show season or to
simply re-charge.
Have you ever wanted the opportunity to ride a true schoolmaster? What would it be like to ride the
movements of a grand prix dressage horse or take an upper-level event horse for a cross country ride? This is
your opportunity!
FRC will be sponsoring a clinic on Saturday, February 24th with Barbro Ask-Upmark and TIEC’s Equine Simulator
“Maximus” for a drastically reduced price of $75 per 45-min ride (normally $140) and unlimited auditing.
ABOUT MAXIMUS
The Event Simulator is the latest and most advanced Simulator in the world. Jumping programs allows the rider
to do everything from an infinity of jumps, practicing position and balance, to a show jumping course of jumps
up to 1.20 showing on 3 big screens.
The computer registers balance and rein pressure over each jump for a read out after the course is finished.
Cross Country course offers a challenging ride on different heights.
Strides can be adjusted and the simulator is reacting just like a real horse, except for doing anything by itself.
The Dressage "horse "can do anything that the rider can do. Sensors for balance, legs and hands shows `6on a
screen for instant feedback.
Ride in the dressage arena and work on basics, GP movements and anything in between.
Barbro stands next to you with instructions in all gaits and situations.
