trends back.... such as the afro, braids, and pressing natural hair straight.<br />

The old trends, however, can be achieved using new and improved<br />

methods. Join Chris as he shares new tricks for old school<br />

Trends: Learn everything from elongating overly curly hair to a wavy<br />

smooth pattern without shrinkage, or transforming overly curly hair to<br />

weightless, frizz free straight hair (all without damage or excessive flat<br />

ironing) while simultaneously rebuilding the hair. Yes it can be done! This is<br />

a class you don’t want to miss for success in <strong>2015</strong> and beyond!!!<br />

SILK BLOWOUT<br />

frizzy, damaged, or curly hair? Is your client<br />

natural and want to go from silky straight<br />

to curly every week? Are you frustrated<br />

because you can’t seem to figure out the<br />

difference between Dominican blowouts,<br />

Keratin smoothing treatments, and how<br />

to flat iron the hair each week without<br />

damage? Clients often want whatever<br />

they see and expect you to deliver<br />

damage and chemical free results. This<br />

class will teach you how to create the<br />

fabulous blowout look without extra heat<br />

damage, pointless roller setting or several<br />

flat iron passes. You will be able to give<br />

your clients beautiful, natural hair with lots<br />

of movement. As a bonus, students will also<br />

learn how to rebuild damaged hair while<br />

providing the blowout without additional<br />

steps or using deep conditioners under the<br />

dryer.<br />

PATTERN CUTTING<br />

Monday : 10:00AM - 11:30AM<br />

In every haircut, there is a pattern to<br />

follow, but in order to follow the pattern<br />

you must first understand the terminology<br />

of hair cutting. This class will first break<br />

down hair cutting basis from positioning,<br />

notching, sectioning, and degrees. Once<br />

complete, Chris will demonstrate how all<br />

terminology works together to complete<br />

any perfect haircut. Let’s make a pattern!<br />

• Identify how patterns are made in hair<br />

cut designs<br />

• Review haircutting vocabulary<br />

• Understand which tools is used in which<br />

pattern<br />

• Understand the different haircutting<br />

degrees<br />

STRAIGHT & NATURAL<br />

Sunday : 4:00PM - 5:30PM<br />

Silky straight African American hair is the<br />

hottest trend now. At this point stylist have<br />

to give there client what they desire, which<br />

is the relaxer look without the relaxer. In<br />

order to achieve this goal successfully<br />

You have to understand the hair internally<br />

and out, product ingredient knowledge,<br />

and tool knowledge. After this intensive<br />

informational class you will be able to<br />

decide what’s best for your clients straight<br />

and natural hair.<br />
