In 2016 Marketing Cheshire<br />

created a new website for<br />

the Constellation Partnership<br />

which was launched at<br />

MIPIM 2017 in Cannes –<br />

constellationpartnership.co.uk<br />

We have also been tasked with<br />

refreshing the Cheshire Science<br />

Corridor Enterprise Zone website<br />

that was originally built in 2015<br />

to shift focus to the Science<br />

Corridor itself. This site will<br />

be relaunched in early 2018 –<br />

cheshiresciencecorridor.com<br />

Our two main visitor-facing sites<br />

currently receive 160,000 visits<br />

per month, combined. Having<br />

been in their current guise for<br />

3 years, we felt it was time for<br />

a refresh and so are currently<br />

working on a brand-new website<br />

for Chester and Cheshire. In 2018<br />

we will be combining our two<br />

current sites, visitchester.com and<br />

discovercheshire.com, into one<br />

fresh new site, and investing in<br />

SEO to ensure that we continue to<br />

rank highly in search engines.<br />

Consumer – Our popular<br />

consumer e-newsletter is<br />

sent out on a monthly basis to<br />

63,000 organic subscribers.<br />

The e-newsletter is themed by<br />

season and includes events and<br />

promotions from our partner<br />

venues and attractions. The<br />

newsletter currently has an<br />

average open rate of 14% and an<br />

average click through rate of 10%.<br />

Weekly Bulletin – Our Weekly<br />

Bulletin, including good news<br />

stories from Cheshire and<br />

Warrington, continues to grow in<br />

popularity and is now distributed<br />

to over 2,500 business contacts in<br />

the North West and beyond, with<br />

an above average click through<br />

rate of 40%.<br />

Video:<br />

We are integrating video<br />

content more and more with<br />

our own marketing campaigns<br />

such as #RoomsToBreathe,<br />

SLANT, #FestiveCheshire and<br />

#ChesteringAround, all with<br />

great engagement and results.<br />

worked with many new clients<br />

who are embracing the power<br />

of video as a marketing tool.<br />
