Plantafel-Maßanfertigungen
Seit über 5 Jahrzehnten stellt magnetoplan
auf Kundenwunsch Tausende von Son deranfertigungen
her. Auch heute noch schenken
wir dem kleinsten Auftrag genauso viel
Zuwendung, wie einer Wand bedeckenden
Riesenanlage. In dem hier gezeigten Beispiel
wurde eine Tafelanlage für die Stabskarte
der Branddirektion Frankfurt am Main
entwickelt.
Die Ausgangssituation
Die Einsätze von Feuerwehr, Rettungsdienst
und Katastrophenschutz-Einheiten bei Großveranstaltungen
oder größeren Schadensfällen
werden in Frankfurt am Main in der zentralen
Leitstelle der Berufsfeuerwehr geplant.
Dabei kommt eine Stabskarte im Format
2,50 m auf 2,50 m zum Einsatz. Die Karte
wurde auf einer mobilen Weißwandtafel genutzt,
wo sie immer wieder neu angebracht
und fixiert werden musste. Die Feuerwehr
war mit dieser Situation unzufrieden und
suchte eine neue Lösung.
Die Lösung von magnetoplan
Um den Anforderungen der Feuerwehr gerecht
zu werden, entwickelte magnetoplan
die se spezielle Tafelanlage. Die neue Lösung
nimmt das Prinzip der Schiebetafel auf, das
aus der Schule bekannt ist. Der Mittelteil der
Tafel ist mit einer Stahlrückwand ausgestattet,
so dass die Stabskarte mit selbstklebenden
Magnetbändern daran fixiert werden
kann und dennoch austauschbar ist. Die
bei den Flügel der neuen Tafelanlage sind
beschreibbare Weißwandtafeln im Format
1,25 m auf 2,50 m. Die Anlage hat ein Gewicht
von 600 Kilogramm.
Der Nutzen der magnetoplan Tafelanlage
Die Spezialanfertigung der Schiebetafel ermöglicht
es, an der Karte zu arbeiten, ohne
das ein Tritt nötig ist, um den oberen Rand
zu erreichen. Man zieht die Tafel nach unten,
um Markierungen vorzunehmen, und schiebt
sie dann nach oben, damit alle Einsatzleiter
einen freien Blick darauf haben und auch aus
den hinteren Reihen den unteren Teil der Karte
einsehen können. Die Flügel können darüber
hinaus vor die Karte geklappt werden,
um diese abzuschließen.
„Die neue Tafelanlage erleichtert uns die
wichtige Arbeit an der Stabskarte erheblich“,
sagt Ulrich Wick, Hauptbrandmeister bei der
Berufsfeuerwehr Frankfurt. „magnetoplan
war das einzige Unternehmen, das uns eine
solche Spezialanfertigung angeboten hat.
Andere Feuerwehren haben sie sich bereits
angesehen und ihr Interesse bekundet.“
Planning boards made-to-order
For over five decades, magnetoplan has
manufactured thousands of special orders
tailored to the customer‘s wishes. Today as
well, we give the smallest order the same
attention as we give to large projects. In the
example presented here, we developed a
planning board system for the Frankfurt Fire
Department.
Background
The dispatching of firetrucks, ambulances
and disaster response teams for large events
or emergencies are planned at the control
center in Frankfurt a.M.. A 2.5 m x 2.5 m
planning board is used in this process. The
map used to be on a mobile whiteboard and
always had to be removed and reaffixed.
The fire department was unhappy with this
situation and started looking for a new solution.
The solution by magnetoplan
To satisfy the requirements of the fire
depart ment, magnetoplan developed a special
board system. The new solution uses sliding
display panels like those used in schools.
The middle part of the panel system has a
steel rear surface which allows the map to
be affixed with self-adhesive magnetic strips
and to be exchanged as needed. The two
side panels of the panel system are writable
whiteboards measuring 1.25 m x 2.5 m. The
entire system weighs 600 kg.
Using the magnetoplan planning board
The special design of the sliding panels
allows people to work on the map without
using a step stool to reach the top edge. You
pull down the panel, mark it as desired, and
then push it back up so that all of the team
leaders have a clear view and can see the
bottom part of the map even from the back
row. The panels can also be folded over the
map to cover it. „The new planning board
makes the important work on the dispatch
map much easier,“ says Ulrich Wick, Leading
Fire Chief of the Frankfurt Fire Department.
„magnetoplan was the only company that
offered us a special solution. Other fire
departments have checked it out already and
expressed their interest.“
