Rendez-Vous Tourbillon
FOR HER
Jaeger-LeCoultre is synonymous with the Reverso – the rectangular, reversible timepiece that has become as
recognisable an icon for JLC as the octagonal bezel of the Royal Oak has become for Audemars Piguet. But Jaeger-
LeCoultre has a rich collection of watches beyond the Reverso as well.
The Rendez-Vous collection which was first launched in 2012 is the brand’s main collection for women and features
circular cases. While the Rendez-Vous has been going through several stages of evolution in the last six years,
JLC has hit a high note this year with the Rendez-Vous Tourbillon which features a midnight blue dial. That tourbillon
is operated by way of a self-winding Calibre 978 movement which contains 302 parts and has a power
reserve of 45 hours.
There’s plenty of diamonds tastefully arranged on this timepiece. A larger row of brilliant cut diamonds on the dial
intersects a smaller circle which in turn frames the tourbillion at six o’clock. The white gold bezel is also set with
diamonds, as are the sides of the case, lugs and crown which has an inverted diamond.
