3.15 Engine Oil and Filter–Lombardini Diesel

Change oil every 125 hours and oil filter (b) every 250 hours. On new
machines, change oil after first 50 hours of operation. Drain oil while
engine is still warm.
Note: In the interests of environmental protection, place plastic
sheeting and a container under the machine to collect the liquid which
drains off. Dispose of this liquid properly.
3.15.1
To change oil:
Remove oil filler cap (a) and oil drain plug (c). Drain oil into a suitable
container.
3.15.2 Reinstall the drain plug and tighten.
3.15.3 Remove and replace oil filter (b).
3.15.4 Remove oil filler cap (a) and fill engine crankcase with recommended
oil. See Technical Data for oil quantity and type.
3.15.5 Install oil filler cap.
