Keeping your Home and
Property Fire Safe
Fires can start and spread quickly, especially when conditions are
dry, windy and hot. Following these tips can help keep your home and
property safe:
• Assess the fire risk for your house and property. Have an escape plan and know
where you’ll meet.
• Make sure fire appliances can get to you – they need a clear space at least 4
metres wide and four metres high.
• To slow or stop a fire spreading to your home, create a clear space around it of at
least three metres. Remove branches hanging over your roof, keep gutters clean,
and remove or prune flammable plants and shrubs.
• Activities such as lawn mowing, chainsaw use and grinding can produce sparks
so keep machines well maintained. If the weather is hot and dry, use machinery
where you’ll meet.
in the early morning when its cooler.
• If you’ve had a fire, check it regularly. The bigger it is, the longer its embers will
smoulder – fires can even re-ignite months later. Turn piles over and apply water
to ensure there’s no heat left.
• Install long life photoelectric smoke alarms in every bedroom, living area and
hallway; and install heat alarms in your kitchen, bathroom or laundry. Test
batteries every month and keep smoke alarms clean.
• Don’t overload multi-boards, and make sure leads and cords are in good
condition. Never put extension cords under carpets or mats, and don’t use them if
they’re tightly coiled.
Turn off unused appliances and if practical unplug them. Keep electrical
• appliances Activities such away as from lawn water mowing, and chainsaw get second use hand appliances grinding can tested produce by a sparks licensed
electrician or gas fitter.
• Talk to your neighbours about what you can do together as a community to
reduce fire risks.
A REMARKABLE
REGION
The Selwyn District is a region full of optimism
and vitality, combined with a very strong sense of
community.
Selwyn is relishing in its ongoing growth with
the old and new merging to create a remarkable
district with diverse communities to live in.
truly special.
It’s full of dynamic residents who continue to
invest their time, energy and money into making
this a better place not only for themselves and
their families but also the many visitors who come
to marvel at the townships and the natural beauty
Selwyn has to offer.
Our relationship with this region continues to
grow as we continue to deliver stories about the
people and places weekly through The Selwyn
Times – giving residents a voice and also informing them about what is
happening in their communities.
District and also delivers information on businesses and services available to
those who live and visit here.
In a district that is thriving, we are happy to provide you with an insight into
what makes the Selwyn region, the very special place we all know it to be.
Steve McCaughan
CEO - Star Media
DISCLAIMER
Selwyn is the best place to live in New
Zealand. We have great parks and schools
for young people, there are plenty of jobs
with unemployment at 2.2%, we have lots of
community groups to join or volunteer with,
and everywhere has views of the Southern
Alps and a great city just down the road.
There are new things popping up every
week, why don’t you try them out? There are
things that have remained unchanged for
generations, have you visited those sites?
I trust this guide helps you understand and
explore a little more of our great community
whether you have just recently moved here
or have never moved away.
emergency response support and
notification network called Selwyn
Gets Ready. The system allows people
to sign up for free to receive alerts via
with local volunteer networks who
check on households needing support
and provides assistance if needed or
allows those support people to request
help from Council where required.
Locally Selwyn Gets Ready has been
used to:
• issue tsunami warnings
• provide information and advice
about fires, and alert people when
they need to be prepared to evacuate
• provide information in the aftermath
of earthquakes
• issue weather warnings for strong
winds or snow
• advise people about fire risk and
fire restrictions
R OLLESTON
By all accounts, William Rolleston
never owned land in the town that was
named after him. He did, however, play
a major role in bringing the railway to
town, with a railway terminus added in
1866.
Rolleston is now the seat of the
council and largest town in Selwyn.
Originally it was considered a satellite
town of Christchurch - not always a
popular designation - however when
Prime Minister Norman Kirk called
Rolleston the “Town of the Future”
he extolled his vision for how he
could see the future development
and growth. Unfortunately, his vision
did not come to fruition during his
lifetime, with stagnation in the 70s and
80s. The 1990s however saw a decade
of change for this township with the
population increasing and growth
of the town. In the 2001 census, the
population was nearly 2000. In 2013,
the population was nearly 10,000,
and as of June 2017, it stands at over
14,000.
With the population increase,
demand on amenities has increased
also. House construction is nothing
short of phenomenal, with Faringdon
leading the way. The South Point retail
precinct in Faringdon serves residents
well.
Rolleston is served, currently, by two
supermarkets, medical, dental and
physiotherapy centres, pharmacies,
banks and numerous retail outlets,
restaurants, cafes, and fast food
outlets. It is, however, poised to take
a giant leap forward. Developments
are underway to provide many more
retail opportunities, a new library
opened in early 2018, and
is very popular. The latest
Selwyn District Council
long term plan consultation
document, Fast Forward
28, includes a project to
build an indoor courts
complex at Foster Park,
to provide space for the
rapidly-growing demand for
sports such as basketball,
badminton, netball and
futsal. The complex of four
indoor courts and four
covered courts would be
complemented by a sports
completed in late 2019.
The Aquatic Centre, several
new primary schools and
Rolleston College, for year
9-10s (which will eventually
take year 9-13 pupils)
and numerous sports and
recreational opportunities,
all cater to families in the
Rolleston township and
area. The Council is also
proposing in the 10-year
consultation plan, to create
an extension to the Selwyn
Aquatic Centre to provide
a new 25m, eight-lane pool
to help meet continuing
demand for learn to swim
$12m proposal would also
include a café and fitness/
brought significant
opportunities to Rolleston.
IZONE
More than 120 companies, primarily
in the manufacturing, construction,
logistics, and agricultural sectors, have
made Izone home.
Izone, a 188ha business hub, and one
of New Zealand’s largest industrial
developments, is only 12 minutes from
Hornby, 20 minutes from Christchurch
International Airport, and 40 minutes
from the Port of Lyttelton. When the
Southern Motorway opens, these
times could be cut by as much as 50%.
The development, owned by Selwyn
District Council, ensures commercially
favourable district plan rules, including
no development levies, no maximum
site cover requirements, and no
restrictions on the generation of traffic
movements. Retail activity provisions
are relatively permissive, and noise
standards are realistic.
Izone’s state of the art infrastructure
takes a best practice approach,
recognising urban design trends. Its
wide roads and carefully designed
traffic management systems, network
of walkways, native plantings, and
attractive communal areas make
it very environmentally friendly,
encourage a sense of community,
and create the potential for enhanced
work-life balance. These sustainability
features and Izone’s demonstrable
affordability – low land costs, low
rates, and developer friendly district
plan – make it the envy of other largescale
industrial parks nationally.
Izone contributes significantly to
Selwyn’s economic growth, creating
more and more jobs as it grows, and
bringing industry to the region.
IPORT
IPort, the Carter Group’s 122ha
industrial and logistics park, is
Link Drive
revolutionising freight movements
through the Canterbury region. It
is strategically positioned at the
intersection of the South Island’s major
freight arteries – the South Island Main
Trunk Railway line, the Midland Railway
line, and State Highway 1. These already
provide easy access to Christchurch
International Airport and Lyttelton
Port. When the Southern Motorway
opens (2019/2020) efficiency will be
even more enhanced.
IPort provides a diversity of land
offering, from small industrial land for
sale, through to large design, build and
lease options. Sites can be customised
and operated on 24/7.
As with the adjacent Izone, the
Selwyn District Council is supportive
of IPort’s growth, and benefits such
as no maximum site cover, realistic
noise standards, and no restrictions
on traffic movements, making IPort a
fantastic opportunity for businesses.
L INCOLN
Lincoln is another of Selwyn’s
townships which has seen huge growth
in the past decade.
A township which originally serviced
the first farming families which settled
in the area, the town had its first growth
spurt when Lincoln University was
first established. Since then it slowly
developed until about 10 years ago
when great demand for housing has
seen a remarkable jump in the number
of families who now call this township
home.
The town still maintains the character
of a small rural village but includes
many amenities which add to the
town’s popularity.
The Lincoln Event Centre, Lincoln
Library, Lincoln & Districts Community
Care all cater to the needs of residents
of all ages. As well The Famous Grouse,
The Black Door and The Laboratory
along with other cafes and takeaways
providing places to dine.
The Lincoln Medical Centre is an
essential service provider in the area
delivering medical assistance to those
who live and work in Lincoln. There
are also a range of physiotherapists,
massage therapists, podiatrists and
other health providers who ensure
residents maintain their wellbeing.
Sport is a big part of Lincoln’s culture
with rugby, badminton and netball the
most prominent sports in the winter
and lawn bowls, tennis and cricket
clubs also providing sport for all ages
during the summer months.The Lincoln
Golf Club is also a valuable asset with
the picturesque but challenging 9-hole
course available to play all year round.
Touch rugby is enjoyed by all ages in the
summer as well, with the Lincoln Rugby
Club organising the touch competition
for all ages and skill abilities.
Lincoln’s shopping caters for
everyone with boutique stores range
from those offering organic, healthy
designer fashion and giftware. There is
also a supermarket, accommodation,
hardware store, service station and
many services. The retail offerings
are set to certainly change soon with
the recent development of both the
Rosemerryn and Vernon Drive retail
precincts promising to bring more retail
and service industries to the town.
The Lincoln Farmers’ Market, held
P REBBLETON
The township of Prebbleton dates
back to when the Prebble family settled
there in the 1850s. Younger brother,
Edward opened a general store and
“Prebble Town” was born. It is one of
Canterbury’s oldest settlements, and
its long history still whispers through
the streets and buildings.
Prebbleton’s proximity to
Christchurch, only 5 minutes from
Hornby and 15 to 20 minutes to the
CBD, make it a very popular residential
area. It is supported by its own retail
precinct, with cafes, fuel and car
repairs, local produce and groceries,
restaurants, takeaways and the
Prebbleton Tavern which harks all the
way back to Edward Prebble himself.
Surrounded by orchards, olive groves,
race-horse stables and horticulture,
Prebbleton has retained a village
feel. There are preschools, a primary
school, sports fields, a skate park, and
a community hall.
The monthly Sunday market is
popular, weather permitting, and there
is a walking group and activities such
as indoor bowls and Tai Chi. The local
hall houses many private celebrations
as well as community gatherings and
events.

connection to the area. Airborne
Honey is the oldest surviving brand
of honey in New Zealand. William
Bray and Alfred Barrett moved their
operation from Banks Peninsula to
Leeston in the late 1920s, and it is still
based there today.
A cenotaph, honouring the men and
H ORORATA EVENTS
The rural communities nestled in
the Selwyn foothills are filled with
passionate and dedicated people
who give up their time to run some of
the best events in the district. These
events are the fabric of the community
and make the area a great place to live
and visit.
Annual events include the Heritage
Open Days, Hororata Pig and Possum
Hunt, Windwhistle Golf Classic, Malvern
Hunt, Hororata Swap Meet, Terrace
Station Garden Visits, Homesbush
Stables Open Day, Hororata Parish
Spring Fair and the Hororata Highland
Games. As well as these annual
events there are numerus events and
festivals which happen throughout
the year. New to the calendar in 2018
was the Hororata Night Glow, another
example of what these communities
can do when they band together. All
of these events are made possible by
volunteers who give their time to make
them happen with many community
organisations.
The area has many great venues for
events including the Lake Coleridge,
Glenroy, Hororata and Glenroy Halls.
The Hororata Domain is the perfect
venue for any event large or small; the
cross country course is regularly used
for equestrian events. The Hororata
Golf Club located in Glentunnel is a
wonderful setting for not only golf but
with a café soon to be opened, other
functions as well.
events visit www.hororata.org.nz

18 Selwyn District Residents' Guide 2018
H ORORATA HIGHLAND GAMES
The Hororata Highland Games was created in 2011 from
the community’s desire to take charge of its own future
following the devastation suffered during Canterbury
earthquakes. Being proactive, a motivated group of
individuals developed a theme which resonated with them
and filled a unique gap in the event market; the Hororata
Highland Games was born and is now a permanent fixture
in the Canterbury event calendar.
The event attracts over 500 competitors who compete
in highland dancing, piping and drumming, tug o’ war,
highland spin (fleece to garment challenge), small bore
shooting, amateur heavy athletics (men’s and women’s)
and the Oceania Heavyweight Championship (professional
heavy athletics).
Visitors don’t come just to sit on the bleaches, but all
ages can have a go themselves in modified or replicas of
the competitive events. Have A Go events include the junior
warriors, caber or sheath toss, lightweight farmers walk,
small bore shooting, archery, kilted mile, haggis hurl and
the hororata pie eating competition. Most of these events
are free to participate in.
The event hosts over 100 stalls offering quality merchandise
and produce. In the stalls area there is a children’s
fairground, music entertainment, Scottish country dancing
and the Taste of Scotland offering a range of Scottish
themed food and wine. Visitors discover Scottish heritage
and their ancestry in Clan Lane.
The Chieftain’s welcoming ceremony is a unique blend
of Scottish and Kiwi culture. A Karanga welcomes the
chieftain, but the response comes from bag pipes. A kapa
haka group adds even more flare and excitement to this
spectacle. The massed bands closing ceremony is heart
pounding and a fitting end to the day.
This is a family friendly event that appeals to all ages and
visitors don’t have to be Scottish to enjoy it. Over 11,000
people attend each year.
Above all else the Hororata Highland Games is a
community event; run by the Hororata Community Trust
for the benefit of the community. Over 200 volunteers
join Clan Hororata each year to make the event happen.
The Hororata Highland Games is a truly inspiring story of
what a rural community can achieve with motivation and a
shared vision.

C ASTLE HILL – ARTHUR’S PASS
Main Highway 73 leads you not only
over Porters Pass and through some
of the best scenery in New Zealand
but also to the high country villages
of Castle Hill and Arthur’s Pass. Along
this most spectacular drive you will
pass many historical sites along with
some amazing lakes.
Lake Lyndon, a small lake near
Castle Hill, is popular for rainbow
trout fishing. Lake Lyndon becomes
very popular in summer due to its
close proximately to local towns of
Springfield, Sheffield and Darfield for
water sports. Winter at the lake can
also be spectacular and can make the
perfect photo opportunity as the lake
regularly freezes due to its elevation
and location.
Nestled under the Craigieburn
Range, a high alpine village sits. Castle
Hill village is a most picturesque place
in both summer and winter. It has a
small number of permanent residents
along with a number of holiday homes
(used extensively during the winter
ski season). The village is the centre
for many who participate in the many
recreational activities in the area,
including exploring the distinctive
limestone boulders of Castle Hill, skiing
and mountain biking. The boulders
are located within the Kura Tawhiti
Conservation Area.
Lake Pearson runs parallel with State
Highway 73 and is easily accessible. At
195ha it is the largest of the Pearson,
or Waimakariri, trout fishing lakes.
Fishing from a dinghy or kayak, not
mechanically propelled, is permitted
on this lake.
Cave Stream Scenic Reserve is a
popular stop for all. If you take on the
challenge of walking through Cave
Stream limestone formation, please
ensure you read the warning signs
before attempting this walk.
The unique Arthur’s Pass alpine village
sits 740m above sea level, is nestled
into the mountains and surrounded
by beech forest in the centre of the
Arthur’s Pass National Park. Although
a small village, its welcome is always
big with only 25 full time residents
plus the additional estimated 250,000
plus visitors each year – the village
always has a busy vibe - whether you
arrive by the Transalpine train, car,
camper or for the brave by bike or
scooter. The visitor centre is located
as you enter the village and makes
a perfect first stop to inquire about
the history of the Pass. Arthur’s
Pass also boasts a general store, tea
rooms and a restaurant. However
it is recommended that you bring
groceries/tramping supplies with you
due to a limited selection.
Many walking tracks are easily
accessed from the village with the
Devil’s Punch Bowl being a popular
one.

S ELWYN SNOW
There are six ski fields in Selwyn.
Each offers excellent skiing and
snowboarding to suit all abilities. They
are in close proximity to each other
and are supported by nearby villages
such as Castle Hill, Springfield, and
Arthur’s Pass.
It is best to carry chains and keep
a close eye on weather and snow
reports. Events are common and
popular, so check out the websites
and www.skiselwynsix.co.nz for more
information.
around. Three tow ropes service the
area for all skill levels, but the best is
off-piste.
are available, as are equipment hire
and lessons. The ungroomed ski area
features rock formations that make
skiing challenging and rewarding.
SELWYN MARAE -
TAUMUTU
Taumutu sits alongside Te Waihora
(Lake Ellesmere) and very close to the
sea. It is the site of several pā, significant
in the history of Māori. It is also where
some iwi, who were migrating south
from the North Island, decided to settle
due to Te Waihora’s rich resources.
A Maori hall was erected in 1891 on
the old pā site of Ngāti Moki, later
becoming a working Marae with the
adjoining Whare Kai built in 1986.
The Marae serves the descendants
of Moki and father Te Ruahikihiki, who
now number in their thousands. A
Rūnanga committee are responsible for
the development and operation of the
marae that couples as an educational
facility, relating Māori history and
custom to future generations. It is one
of eighteen Ngai Tahu Papatipu marae.
The Rūnanga is also closely associated
with the wider Selwyn community and
has gifted names to new schools.
Closer to the sea, the historic Hone
Wetere Church and adjoining Urupa
(graveyard) sit on the site of Te
Ruahikihiki’s pā. This area is of particular
historical significance as it includes
some old pre-European burials.
If visiting please adhere to Māori
protocol by not entering the marae
grounds unless invited. However,
people are welcome to explore the
church grounds and spend time on the
lake and beach beyond.
S OUTH ISLAND
AGRICULTURAL FIELD DAYS
The Courtenay Road site in Kirwee
will again be the venue for the next
South Island Agricultural Field Days
(SIAFD) being held on March 27-29,
2019.
The SIAFD is the opportunity to give
farmers and others in the rural sector a
chance to see the latest in agricultural
advancements – whether this be in
machinery, services or technology that
can be used to optimise production.
The emphasis is on home-grown
products available on the market but
also includes products and services
from further afield.
The Field Days is the only agricultural
show in New Zealand to feature sideby-side
demonstrations, with 80 - 100
tractors, headers, mowers, seed drills
and other machines being put through
their paces each day.
The SIAFD began in 1951 at
Motukarara, with the event now
attracting between 20,000 and
25,000 visitors during the three-day
showcase.
The SIAFD is a non-profit,
incorporated society, run mostly by
volunteers who are either farmers or
who work in the agricultural field.
Media spokesperson Daniel Schat
says at 80ha, SIAFD is the largest in
area of all Field Days in New Zealand.
“We are currently undertaking capital
development, so in years to come we
can optimise all our space,” Daniel
says.
Wet weather during the 2017 event,
which made conditions difficult, has
prompted the organising committee
to spend time in the off-season laying
shingle on the laneways, and this will
facilitate a cleaner and faster set-up
for next year’s event, he says.
Machinery demonstrations will
again be a key feature of SIAFD,
and companies wanting to take part
will be able to register following the
publication of the prospectus in May.
As a non-profit organisation with
charitable status, SIAFD donates to
local community groups, and awards
university scholarships each year.
E XCAVATION AND
AGGREGATE SPECIALISTS
After working for a company, where
his job entailed driving a difficult to
handle old digger, Sandy decided to
go out on his own.
He thought if he worked hard, he
could save up for a new digger and
control how the work was carried out
so a high quality job was ensured.
That was 20 years ago. Sandy and
his wife Leanne’s business, Ellesmere
Excavation and Aggregate has grown
steadily ever since, expanding into
aggregate supply about eight years
ago. They now have six full-time and
two part-time employees, with the
business equally divided between
general excavation and aggregate
supply.
The company sources the material
from their own quarry which is
operated from the Rakaia River, where
they crush and screen alot of different
sized material.
Ellesmere Excavation and Aggregate
is a well-recognised supplier of:
• Specialist sands – 2A filter sand and
2mm turf sand;
• AP65 and AP40M4 to Transit
specifications; and
• Boulders for soak holes.
Ellesmere Excavation and Aggregate
has a loyal customer base of
commercial businesses, farmers and
individuals; many having traded with
Sandy and Leanne since they started.
“It’s about the people and doing a
quality job at a reasonable rate,” says
Sandy.
62 Selwyn District Residents' Guide 2018
S ELWYN REAL ESTATE
There are some fundamental
necessities when you are looking to
sell or purchase a home. To ensure you
are in the best position possible, a few
simple steps can save you time and
energy.
One Agency in Rolleston has some
handy tips for getting prepared:
GETTING READY TO SELL
What are you leaving
Work out what you want to include
in the sale. Sometimes a cubby house,
plumbed fridge or wall mounted
television might be items you are
happy to leave behind. If you are
going to take the heirloom chandelier
when you leave, you need to state this
clearly in your sales contract. Your
real estate agent will go through this
process with you.
Declutter, clean and repair
For any property to look its best, you
need to ensure you pare back on some
of the more personal items. You want
everyone who walks into your home
to see themselves living there, and a
broken fence, dirty oven and Nana’s
spoon collection may all lead to turning
potential buyers away. If unsure, get a
friend you trust to come and help as
they will be less emotional about the
pieces in your house. Remember you
only have to pack them once and can
unpack them again when you get to
your new home.
Choosing how you will sell your home
This is done in collaboration with
your real estate agent. Whether you
chose an auction, deadline treaty sale
or more conventional listed price sale,
your agent will be able to advise what
method best suits your property and
which one is most likely to make you
the best money.
GETTING READY TO
BUY
Get your finances in order
If you need to borrow in order to buy
a property, you need to ensure you
meet with your mortgage broker or
lender early to get pre-approval. This
will mean you will know exactly how
much you are able to spend and allow
you to look for properties in your price
bracket.
Engage a lawyer
You will need to have a lawyer ready
to look over any contracts and assist in
conveyancing of the property. They will
also check the title of the property and
advise on different types of property
such as freehold, body corporate etc.
Carry out due diligence
So you will need to make sure you
check the LIM report with council and
get a builder to inspect the proposed
property you are purchasing. In any
contract you sign you should always
make it subject to a LIM and builders’
report so that if either of these come
back with major issues or concerns
you have a way to exit the purchase.
Flemington subdivision gives you
the best Lincoln has to offer.
Flemington is a beautifully planned community,
featuring tree-lined boundaries and an
established lined oak tree entrance.
The residential subdivision offers a range of section sizes
from 400m2 to 650m2 all fully serviced nestled on the
outskirts of a rural landscape.
The close proximity to both Lincoln and Christchurch is
making Flemington very popular with a diverse range of
homeowners, from those looking to build their first home to
the more mature retirees.
Central to the entire development is the large recreational
space housing the children’s playground and tennis court,
part of the 1.3ha that has been set-aside in the Flemington
master plan for such purpose. Various other amenities
are continually being investigated to make life easy for
the residents.
Running alongside Flemington on Birches Road is the
Christchurch to Little River cycle way, a well-used and
popular recreational “highway” which families and
recreational cyclists share together
The Show home village now consists of eight leading
We all wish we had more
time to get jobs around the
house done. Unfortunately
when time slips away or we
just can’t complete them
ourselves, those general
maintenance jobs or major
repairs get left.
Luckily in Selwyn we can
call upon a number of
reliable professionals who
can prepare our house now
– especially ahead of the
winter months.
Here are just some of the
jobs you can get trades
people to complete to
ensure your house is
operating at optimum.
• Cleaning out spouting and
gutters
• Clearing drains
• Carpeting your home
• Tidying up the garden and
planting produce and plants
for Spring
• Waterblasting, sanding
and painting exteriors to
protect your house from
adverse weather conditions.
• Getting fully lined curtains
installed for winter months
ahead
• Ensuring your insulation
is up to scratch to conserve
energy – including garage
doors
• Electricity check ahead
of winter to ensure water
heaters, wiring and all
electric blankets are at their
optimum
• Heat pump installation,
maintenance and cleaning
• Chimney cleaning
• Double glazing installed
• Checking seals on
windows
• Pest control (mice
eradication)
and pavers to prevent slips
in the winter.
Darfield High School students Elyse Kerr (left) and Bridget Leach have teamed with the SPCA to create
an all-in-one colouring-in and storybook. As part of the Young Enterprise Scheme competition, the
students created the book for children aged five to 13, to teach them how to care for animals properly.
The books will be sold nationwide, with a percentage of profits going to the SPCA.
PLEAS HAVE been made to
have a stop sign installed at an
accident-prone Waddington
intersection.
Residents have asked for the
sign to be installed a the
intersection of State Highway 73
and Waimakariri Gorge Rd to
prevent future crashes.
Already two serious crashes have
been recorded at the intersection
this year, one a fatal.
Fox Glacier man Ioane Sitivi, 36,
died from injuries he sustained when
two vehicles crashed in January.
He was one of eight people hurt
in the crash. He and another person
were critically injured, while
two others were moderately injured
and four had minor injuries.
In February, a sport utility vehicle
failed to give way and was hit
by a truck. One person sustained
serious injuries while the other had
minor injuries.
Three other crashes that resulted
in both serious and minor injuries
were recorded a the intersection
between 2014-2016.
The issue was presented by
resident Bob Scott to the Sheffield-
Waddington Community Committee
in February.
