Many committees around the region<br />
have already started preparation for<br />
the start of the A & P Show season in<br />
<strong>Selwyn</strong>.<br />
Many look forward throughout<br />
the cooler months to the fun and<br />
enjoyment that this day brings and of<br />
course the fierce competition to take<br />
out ribbons at these events.<br />
As much as there is friendly rivalry,<br />
the A & P Show also provides a chance<br />
for friends to catch up and visitors to<br />
come and see more of what the rural<br />
life involves.<br />
There is much to see and do at an<br />
A & P Show – whether you like arts<br />
and crafts, gardening, shearing, wood<br />
chopping, highland country dancing,<br />
vintage machinery and of course the<br />
competition for the elite breeders to<br />
have their livestock judged against<br />
their peers.<br />
At the Ellesmere A & P Show in<br />
Leeston you will also be treated to<br />
Horse Showing and Jumping, Country<br />
Kids competition, Young Farmers<br />
Agri-Sports, Wearable Arts and much,<br />
much more.<br />
