Excitement hung like a cloud of incense in the still air of late afternoon, the<br />
warmth of newborn summer heralding the start of the southern festive<br />
season, especially festive in Fendalton. It was not Father Christmas causing<br />
the joyous uproar, but Dame Trelise Cooper jet-setting in with her sleighfull of<br />
fashion blessings. Clad in the Dame’s fabulous raiments, a platoon of models<br />
trod the circuit, spirits lifting with each graceful step and sway manifesting the<br />
life within each garment. Dame Trelise now spoke to her audience, the willing<br />
captives to her humanity and wisdom hanging on every word during that all<br />
