music experiences. The musicians range in<br />

age from 15- 86 years providing a mixture of<br />

The annual Fourth of July parade will be<br />

held on Wednesday, July 4. Lineup begins at<br />

10 a.m. near the fire department.<br />

From July 21-28, enjoy the Oakdale Hose<br />

Company’s annual street carnival.<br />

Course will offer a special program this<br />

summer, with no greens fee. Golf cart, if<br />

needed, is $8. To qualify, participants must be<br />

Findlay Township residents; must consist of a<br />

parent and a child under the age of 18 (not an<br />

adults only activity); must provide proof of<br />

introduce the game to children. Program will<br />

provide basic instruction, exercise, and<br />

“HELLO ROBO” - What is a robot and what<br />

does it do. Pre-schoolers learn as they hear a<br />

story and interact with some real robots,<br />

Monday, <strong>June</strong> 18, 10-11 a.m., ages 3-5<br />

years.<br />

“WIZARD” - During this magical camp,<br />

participants will explore dry ice, glow in the<br />

dark slime, shrinky dinks, and color changing<br />

beads, Monday, <strong>June</strong> 18, 11:30 a.m.-12:30<br />

p.m,, ages 6-10 years.<br />

“BUILD IT CAMP” - Participants will test their<br />

building skills using Lego bricks, K’Nex, and<br />

electrical circuits. They will try engineering<br />

feats by creating earthquake proof structures<br />

and indestructible bridges, Monday,<br />

July 10, 11 a.m.-12 p.m., ages 6-10 years.<br />

Township join together to bring a program to<br />

get you outside and moving this summer.<br />

Rolling and Strolling is a 20-minute walking<br />

program around Clinton Park for ages 5 and<br />

under and their caregivers. After the walk,<br />

enjoy storytime at Rainbow’s End, free, no<br />

registration needed, Tuesdays, <strong>June</strong> 12,<br />

19, and 26, July 3, 10, and 17, August 7<br />

and 14, 9:30 a.m., meet in the Rainbow’s End<br />

parking lot.<br />

22, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Were you thinking<br />

about having a garage sale this summer, but<br />

just too busy to do it? If so, then you will<br />

definitely want to get in on this event. Rent a<br />

parking space(s) and bring along everything<br />

you can sell out of the back of your car or<br />

truck. Or, bring a table, tarp, etc. for your<br />

space. One rule is that your vehicle must<br />

remain in your space and you sell out of it or<br />

in front of it. All sellers will be able to enter<br />

the park at 7 a.m. Free coffee will be<br />

available for sellers in the Falcon Pavilion.<br />

Findlay Township has partnered with<br />

Macaroni Kid / Robinson and the <strong>West</strong>ern<br />

<strong>Allegheny</strong> Community Library to bring a oneof-a-kind<br />

family event in Clinton Park.<br />

Donations will be accepted to support the<br />

<strong>West</strong>ern <strong>Allegheny</strong> Community Library. All<br />

sorts of vehicles, including a school bus, fire<br />

engine, bucket truck, construction truck, and<br />

more, will be there for the kids to climb on<br />

and explore. (There will be a NO HORN TIME<br />

between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. for children<br />

afraid of fire sirens). Plans are still in the<br />

works, as there will be lots of other fun<br />

activities as well as food and drinks. Visit<br />
