On April 26, North Fayette and Kennedy Volunteer Fire Departments went to H
& K Equipment Company in North Fayette for the company’s annual ‘Take Your
Child to Work Day.’
Dennis Bowman from KDKA was on site to do a presentation on weather, and
the fire departments brought their fire trucks and equipment to put on a
demonstration for about 50 children of H & K employees who came for the day.
Afterwards, the company hosted a small picnic for the children.
The team effort of the local fire departments, H & K employees, and others
resulted in a successful day.
