WA SENIOR AWARDED
FOUR-YEAR ROTC SCHOLARSHIP
Brad Fratangelo, West Allegheny High
School senior, has been awarded a fouryear
Army ROTC Scholarship at Penn
State - University Park issued by U. S.
Army Cadet Command. Scholarship
winners are
selected by
Cadet
Command on
the basis of
academic and
leadership
excellence.
Upon
graduation
from Penn State, Brad will be commissioned
as a second lieutenant in the U.S.
Army and anticipates serving on active
duty.
Brad has been involved in JROTC at
West Allegheny, participating in Color
Guard (most recently as Commander), and
Rifle Team and Drill Team, and holds the
rank of Cadet Lieutenant Colonel.
In addition to his JROTC honors, Brad
placed sixth in the state in Congress at the
Forensics State Championships held at
Susquehanna University in March.
