Instant Mineral Oil Based Release Agent
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
An environmental friendly release agent, which enables convenient release of concrete from
the mold and so obtainment of concrete with smooth surface.
AREAS OF USE
MegaKalıp MY can be used for steel, plastic, plywood and wooden mold systems. The
product enables the release of the concrete from the mold smoothly and free from stains.

The foregoing values represent the results of the laboratory tests conducted at 23 ± 2°C

CONSUMPTION
Appropriate consumption volume for surface with surface area around 20 - 40 m 2 is 1 liter.
The said value may vary depending on the surface condition and the type of mold used, and
the count of use.
PACKAGING
MegaKalıp MY is supplied in 30 liter plastic drums and 210 liter steel barrels.
SHELF LIFE
The shelf life of the product is 3 years when stored within non tampered original packaging
in dry (maximum relative humidity 60 %) and cool (ambient temperature between +5°C and
+25°C) environment.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
The product should be stored within non-tampered original packaging in dry (maximum relative
humidity 60 %) and cool (ambient temperature between +5°C and +25°C) environment.
It should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
The container of the product should be closed firmly when not used.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Do use goggles and glows during application. Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) as
appropriate for easy and safe application.

Surface Preparation
There should not be any chemical wastes or residues (diesel oil, gas etc.) on the mold
surfaces, and particularly in the cases, where the release agent employed is changed, the
surfaces must be cleaned to be free from any residues of any previous release agent used.
Application Methods
The product is applied via spraying, roller or brush on clean mold surfaces. Due consideration
should be given to apply minimum amount of product in the thinnest layer practicable.
Application Recommendations
• Excessive use of oil would lead to the formation of stains on the concrete; therefore, any
extra oil on the surface should be cleaned via a sponge, cloth etc.
• In case of highly absorbent surfaces, a second layer should be applied where necessary.

Surface and Ambient Temperature
The surface and ambient temperature should be between +10°C and + 35°C whilst
application.
