PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Acrylic emulsion based, textured, grained, long lasting coating, which is applied and is also
given pattern with a roller. The product is also suitable for use on interior walls for decorative
purposes.
AREAS OF USE
Mantotherm Acrylic Based Grained Exterior Coating is used as the finishing coat coating
material along with the suitable primer on cement based plaster, exposed concrete, fiber
cement board and thermal insulation systems on the exteriors of any building.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Application Surfaces
Outdoors Walls;
- Cement based plasters (Mantotherm Primer applied)
- Concrete (MegaSıva K and MegaSıva İ applied)
- Fiber cement panels (Mantotherm Primer applied)
- Thermal insulation systems (as finishing coat paint)
Surface Preparation
• Application surfaces should be sound, clean, dust free, and free from molding oils and other
foreign substances. Such materials as mortar and cement residues should be peeled off.
• Mantotherm Primer should be applied to such surfaces, which may have been painted
previously or is to be newly painted.
Application Methods
• Mantotherm Acrylic Based Grained Exterior Coating should be stirred until it becomes
homogenously consistent prior to the application.
• The pelt roller should be thoroughly saturated with the product prior to, and the product
should be spread on the entire surface at equal thickness with the roller during the
application.
• The patterns should be designed and developed from top to bottom with a coral roller or
crystal roller while the product applied is wet. The thickness of the design pattern can be
adjusted by adding water; however, it should be noted that the addition of excessive amount
of water might cause the design pattern to fade out, impair the coating capability thereof
and, depending on the season, cause delays in the drying process of the product.
Application Recommendations
• Pelt roller may be used to develop different design patterns. The application equipment
used should be cleaned with water immediately after the application.
• Paper tape should be used and adequate number of application workers should be employed
in order to prevent the formation of undesired joint spots in the case of large surface
applications.
• In order to avoid any potential differences in shade on the facade, the product of the same
batch number should be used on each facade.
• The product should not be applied to such surfaces, which are exposed to risk of freezing
within the next 24 hours, which are frozen or the frost of which is thawing.
• Due care should be given to prevent the exposure of the material to direct sunlight in hot
weather conditions.
• The product should not be applied on extremely windy weather conditions or on hot surfaces,
which are exposed to direct sunlight; and in the cases, where application is imperative under
such conditions, the environment and the surface should be prepared for application in
advance.
• The product should not be applied in rainy weather conditions, and the application surface
should be preserved from rain for a period of 24 hours.

Surface and Ambient Temperature
The surface and ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +35°C whilst at
application.

The foregoing values represent the results of the laboratory tests conducted at 23 ± 2°C
temperature and 50% ± 5 relative humidity conditions. The values provided as per the table
may vary depending on the surface and ambient conditions.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Mixing Ratio
Mantotherm Acrylic Based Grained Exterior Coating is a ready to use product. The
product should be mixed with water in such volume that is equal to 10 % of the product
volume as appropriate for the development of the preferred design pattern.
Mixing Equipment
• Low speed electrical mixer (400 cycles/min.)
• Special tip stirring equipment
Mixing Period
The product should be mixed until a homogenous mixture is obtained. The product should be
kept homogenous by stirring intermittently during the application.
Application Equipment
• Pelt roller
• Coral or crystal roller
Equipment Cleaning
The equipment used should be cleaned with water following the application before the
product dries.

CONSUMPTION
Recommended consumption amount for application on 1 m 2 surface is 1.0 - 1.3 kg/m 2 . The
said value may vary, depending on the surface and ambient conditions.
PACKAGING
Mantotherm Acrylic Based Grained Exterior Coating is delivered in net 25 kg plastic
buckets.
SHELF LIFE
The shelf life of the product is 12 months when stored within non-tampered original
packaging in dry (maximum relative humidity 60 %) and cool (ambient temperature between
+5°C and +25°C) environment.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
The product should be stored within non-tampered original packaging in dry (maximum relative
humidity 60 %) and cool (ambient temperature between +5°C and +25°C) environment.
It should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
The container of the product should be closed firmly when not used.
