Priscilla Sharpe, 80
PEABODY — Priscilla
(Bowden)
Sharpe of Peabody,
formerly a longtime
resident of Lynn,
passed away surrounded
by her loving
family on Saturday,
July 14, 2018
at the age of 80.
Born in Lynn on
Aug. 10, 1937, she
was the daughter
of the late Howard
and Edith (Clark) Bowden. Priscilla
was raised and educated
in Lynn and was a graduate of
Lynn English High School with
the Class of 1955.
She went on to dedicate more
than 25 years working as a central
supply technician for both
Lynn Hospital, Union Hospital
and Wakefi eld Melrose Hospital
before retiring in 1994. After her
retirement, Priscilla went on to
volunteer at the Melrose-Wakefi
eld Hospital for an additional
10 years.
Priscilla married her childhood
sweetheart, Kenneth B.
Sharpe, on Aug. 12, 1962 in
Lynn. The couple shared more
than 54 years in marriage and
love together, raising and caring
for their family, until Kenneth’s
passing in November of 2016.
Priscilla was a devout Christian
woman. She was a past member
of both the East Baptist Church
in Lynn and the First Baptist
Church in Melrose. In her spare
time, she loved to
be creative whether
it was crocheting or
expressing herself in
wonderfully written
poetry. No time was
better spent than
when she spent
time with her family.
Priscilla leaves
her children, Kelly
Walsh and her
husband, Greg of
Billerica and Glenn Sharpe and
his wife, Kathleen of Peabody;
her grandchildren, Molly, Dylan,
and Zander Walsh, all of Billerica;
and her sister, Linda Bowden
of Plaistow, N.H. Several nieces
and nephews also survive her. In
addition to her husband, Priscilla
was preceded in death by her
beloved grandson, Darren Walsh
and her brother, Robert Bowden.
Service information: A funeral
service will be held in the
CUFFE-MCGINN Funeral Home,
157 Maple St., Lynn, on Thursday,
July 19, 2018 at 7 p.m.
Visiting hours will be held in the
funeral home prior to the service
from 5-7 p.m. A private graveside
service will be held at a later
date in Pine Grove Cemetery,

Reading Municipal Light offers
electric vehicle advice
Plug-in electric vehicles
(PEVs) are getting more popular
due to their environmental
benefits and lower fuel costs
for owners. The Reading
Municipal Light Department
(RMLD) which provides electricity
to Peabody and a portion
of Lynnfield said it’s a great
time to buy because there is are
federal, state and local incentives
which lower the purchase
price.
The federal government
offers a credit of between
$2,500 and $7,500 depending
on the capacity of the PEV’s

to learn

Massachusetts offers a rebate
of between $1,000 and
$2,500 on plug-in electric
vehicles. The amount of the
rebate depends on the make
and model of the vehicle.

Consumers Alliance’s Drive
Green Program, which works
with dealerships to provide
discounts. The amount depends

are eligible to participate in
the utility company’s summer
plug-in electric vehicle pilot
program which offers a $1,500
U-PICK
FRUITS
rebate for the lease or purchase

$1,000 rebate for the lease
or purchase of a new Plug-In
Hybrid Electric Vehicle PLUS.
Customers must take delivery
of the vehicle by October 31,

Debra Ann “Debbie”
Tisei, of North
Reading, formerly
of Lynnfi eld, passed
from this world to
the next on July 11
surrounded by her
family after a period
of declining health.
Tisei was born with
a rare heart condition
that presented
her with many
physical challenges
throughout her 56 years. Her
strong faith in God enabled her
to overcome the odds and live
life to the fullest. Despite the adversities,
she never complained
and always had a smile on her
face. Her positive outlook, grace
and strength was an inspiration
to all who met her. Debbie loved
everyone, and she was loved
by those who were fortunate
enough to have met her.
She was a graduate of Lynnfi
eld High School and attended
Merrimack College. She loved
music and theatre, and was an
active member of the Calvary
Christian Church in Lynnfi eld.
She was an avid Boston Red
Sox fan and enjoyed attending
and watching the games.

She is survived by
her devoted mother,
Beverly, her brother Richard
and his husband Bernie Starr,
her sister Donna and daughters
Angela and Victoria, and her
sister Denise LeGrow and her
husband, Greg, and their children
Hailey and Evan. She was
preceded in death by her father,
Ralph.
Service information: A Memorial
Service was held on
July 14 at the Calvary Christian
Church at 47 Grove Street
in Lynnfield. A reception at the
church followed to celebrate
her life.
