The Stafford Arms
People living in Bagnall celebrated the Royal Wedding by having a street party outside
the old Post Office.
The Stafford Arms joined in by showing the Wedding Service in their bar area.
Customers enjoyed a complimentary glass of Prosecco and nibbles whilst they
watched the memorable day unfold.
Jugs of Pimms and half-price bottles of Prosecco were also available
as well as BBQ food. A String Quartet played and @QuartetCabaret
also performed to add that extra special touch to the day.
"A Royal Wedding is such a special occasion...
and it really was fun to commemorate it in such a creative way.
It’s not every day a prince gets married!”
Valentine Clays
Stoke-on-Trent’s Ceramics Centre, LoveClay,
hosted a royal wedding tea party to celebrate
the special occasion.
Guests enjoyed a themed afternoon tea
in the contemporary gallery space whilst
watching the Royal wedding live on TV.
To mark the momentous occasion,
there was also an opportunity to create
commemorative pieces with Teacher
Matthew Dimbleby in the LoveClay
workshop facility.
Guests were shown how to create a heart plaque by Matthew,
who has over 30 years’ experience.
Matthew said:” A Royal Wedding is such a special occasion
and it really was fun to commemorate it in such a creative
way. It’s not every day a prince gets married!”
Hannah Ault, Sales and Marketing Director at Valentine
Clays, commented: “It was really exciting to be hosting such a
unique event. What better way to celebrate a Royal wedding
in Stoke-on-Trent than by getting creative with clay? It was
great to get everyone together to enjoy the wedding.”
