The company has appointed
Jane Stevenson as its new
Head of Human Resources.
The role is Jane’s first within
the financial services sector,
after spending the last 20
years in senior operational
HR posts in Northern
Ireland.
Michelle Prince has been
appointed as Manager at
Leek United’s Uttoxeter
branch. She took charge
of the Market Place office
after moving from the
Society’s Cheadle Branch.
Richard Czapski has been
appointed as Manager at
Leek United’s St Edward
Street branch in Leek. He
first took charge of the
Head Office branch in 2015,
before spending two years
at the helm of the Society’s
Ashbourne team. Now Richard
has returned to the branch
where he started his career
in financial services as a
part-time Customer Adviser
in 2005.
Finally, Leek United has
appointed Andrew Morris
as its new Finance Director.
Andrew has over 20 years’
experience in financial
services and is a Fellow of
the Chartered Institute of
Accountants in England
and Wales. His most recent
role was for three years as
Head of Finance Business
Partnering at Nationwide
Building Society.

Purple Sprout
Purple Sprout has welcomed two new faces to its
growing team.
Sarah Kennerell-Walters has taken the role of
Business Development Executive after coming from
a similar sales role at a leading insurance broker.
She follows hot on the heels of 23-year-old Tayler
Nuttall who joined Purple Sprout as a Graphic
Designer.
James Boulton
Freeths
Freeths LLP has expanded its
Stoke office corporate team
with the recruitment of Partner
James Boulton. Returning
to his North Staffordshire
roots, James is looking
forward to assisting clients in
Staffordshire and the wider
Midlands.
James has joined Freeths’ Stoke office as a Corporate Partner
after training in London with Magic Circle firm Linklaters
and spending 10 years with US firm Reed Smith LLP in
their Europe and Middle East corporate department. He
has experience in domestic and cross border mergers and
acquisitions (company and business sales and purchases,
acting for both buyers and sellers), joint ventures, venture
capital, private equity, corporate restructurings and general
company law advice.
