Future Plan
Building upon our existing programs, we plan to eventually offer the following programs and services that have
been researched and proven to successfully address many of the deeper systemic problems existing in the inner
city.
Plan 1: Venture Capital &
Business Acquisition
As part of our long-term strategy for
financial sustainability, we envision
purchasing several businesses;
beginning with a staffing agency.
Owning and operating a staffing
agency will increase revenue as well as
provide services to help Job One
candidates get through initial hurdles
in the placement process. Bottom line
profits will be allocated to Seed to
Oaks operating budget, which will
increase the sustainability of our
model and progams. Our feasibility
study for the agency is scheduled to be
complete 3QTR FY 2018/19.
Plan 2: Health Navigation
System
To ensure better continuity of health
care, we are working to establish a
health navigator program, in which
patients from health clinics or
neighborhoods are paired with a
navigator who will help them identify
and overcome their personal obstacles
to healthcare (e.g., transportation,
childcare, lack of insurance)
The overarching goal across patients
will be to promote self-efficacy
(confidence) in managing one’s
health and to improve quality of life.
Studies have shown that navigation
programs improve screening followup
rates, reduce anxiety, increase
adherence to treatment, reduce
emergency department and hospital
visits, reduce medical costs, and
improve quality of life. Our
feasibility study is scheduled to be
complete by 2QTR FY 2018/19.
Plan 3: Educator
Support Network
Our Academies have uncovered a
gap in both public and private
education for support among
Christian education professionals. u
Our education support network will
connect Christian educators to each
other to help address existing gaps in
both student’s social and academic
performance, as well as, addressing
gaps between professionals who are
seeking mentoring and those who
can give of their expertise and
experience.
