Brothers – Paolo and Vittorio Taviani (born November 8, 1931 and September<br />

20, 1929, respectively) were born in San Miniato, Italy. Both of them<br />

began their careers as Journalists. But from 1960 they continued working<br />

to direct films collaborating with several directors. Their first autonomous<br />

film was I SOVVERSIVI (THE SUBVERSIVES) in 1976. Taviani brothers won<br />

Palme d’Or for the film PADRE PADRONE in 1967 in Cannes. CAESAR MUST<br />

DIE won the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival <strong>2012</strong>.
